Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang kelompok usaha UKM Brosem yang berada pada RW 10 Kelurahan Sisir, Kecamatan Batu. Pendiri dari UKM Brosem adalah anggota PKK. UKM tersebut menggunakan badan hukum koperasi dalam menjalankan usahanya. UKM Brosem fokus terhadap produksi sari apel. Dimana setiap melakukan produksi membutuhkan apel sebanyak 30 kg. Modal awal dari usaha didapat melalui sistem saham. Namun saat ini UKM Brosem mengalami berbagai kendala usaha. Salah satunya adalah ketersediaan bahan baku. Bahan utama apel yang sulit ditemukan mengancam kegiatan produksi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana anggota UKM Brosem dapat memobilisasi modal sosial dalam menghadapi masalah keberlanjutan usaha produksi sari apel. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori modal sosial Putnam. Menurut Putnam modal sosial adalah bagian dari kehidupan sosial yang berupa jaringan, norma, dan kepercayaan yang mendorong partisipan untuk bertindak bersama secara lebih efektif untuk mencapai tujuan-tujuan bersama. Putnam juga mengungkapkan bahwa modal sosial terbagi menjadi dua jenis yaitu menjembatani (bridging social capital) dan mengikat (bonding social capital). Modal sosial menjembatani cenderung menyatukan orang dari beragam ranah sosial. Sedangkan modal sosial mengikat cenderung mendorong identitas eksklusif dan mempertahankan homogenitas. Putnam juga mengemukakan ikatan vertikal lebih membantu bila dibandingkan dengan ikatan horizontal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian bahwa dengan menggunakan ketiga elemen modal sosial dapat membantu berjalannya proses produksi. UKM Brosem menggunakan jaringan dengan orang-orang yang berada pada luar kelompok. Sehingga masalah dapat teratasi dan proses produksi akan berjalan dengan lancar. Jaringan juga terbentuk antara UKM Brosem dengan pemerintah. Kontribusi pemerintah adalah memberikan mesin sealer dan melakukan berbagai penyuluhan serta membantu UKM Brosem mendapatkan beberapa sertifikat. Dengan begitu proses produksi akan berjalan dengan lancar. Sehingga tidak terancam berhenti. Kelancaran produksi juga akan mempengaruhi jumlah pendapatan bagi pekerja UKM Brosem. Selain itu juga berpengaruh terhadap jumlah penerimaan saham untuk warga yang berkontribusi dan dana alokasi sosial bagi warga RW 10 Kelurahan Sisir, Kecamatan Batu.

English Abstract

This research is talk about the exertion group of UKM Brosem at Hamlet 10 Sisir Urban Village, Batu sub-district. The founder of UKM Brosem is the member of that PKK. UKM using legal entity of corporation within operate the exertion. UKM Brosem is focused in sari apel production. Every production needs 30 kg apples. The financial capital for the exertion is from share system. But now UKM Brosem has a various of share exertion constraint. One of them is the availability of raw materials, Apple, wich is main ingredient, endangers producing activity. Because its difficult to be founded. The purpose from this research is for analyze how the member of UKM Brosem can mobilize the social capital when confront the continuity problem of sari apel production effort. This research is using Putnam's social capital theory. According to Putnam’s theory, social capital is the part of social life wich are network, norm, and trust that will initiate participant to work together effectively to reach the purpose. Putnam also said that social capital is divied into two, those are bridging social capital and bonding social capital. Bridging social capital inclined people from all sorts of social meadow. Whereas, bonding social capital inclined motivate the exclusive identity and defend the homogenity. Putnam also suggest vertical loop is more assist than horizontal loop. This research is using qualitative method with case study approach. The researcher is using data aggregation technique from observation, interview, and documentation. The result of the research is with using the three of social capital elements can help the work of production process. UKM Brosem is using network with people outside group. So, the problem can be overcome and the production process can work well. The network also formerd between UKM Brosem with government. Government’s contributions are giving the sealer machine and doing all shorts of elucidation and also help UKM Brosem get some sertificate. So, production process will work well. So it’s not endangered to become stopped. The productions smootheness will also influence the total income for a workers of UKM Brosem. In the other side influential about the total of share acceptance for contribute citizens and social alocation fund for citizen at Hamlet 10 Sisir Urban Village, Batu sub-district
