Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepribadian hardiness dengan intensi berwirausaha pada mahasiswa Universitas Brawijaya. Desain penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif non eksperimen. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan teknik incidental sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala kepribadian hardiness mengacu pada teori Kobasa (1982) dan skala intensi berwirausaha yang mengacu pada teori Linan (2008). Partisipan dalam penelitian ini (N=100) memiliki kriteria belum pernah berwirausaha, terdiri dari responden laki-laki sebanyak 43 orang dan jumlah responden perempuan sebanyak 57 orang. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi menggunakan metode analisis korelasional product moment pearson didapatkan hasil koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,404. Hal ini berarti kedua variabel memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan. Sehingga semakin tinggi kepribadian hardiness maka semakin tinggi juga tingkat intensi berwirausaha pada mahasiswa Universitas Brawijaya, Begitu pula sebaliknya.

English Abstract

The aim of this study was to identify the relationship between hardiness personality and intention of entrepreneur on Brawijaya University students. The research used quantitative non experiment method with sampling method research was incidental sampling. The scale for hardiness personality was refers to theory of Kobasa (1982) and the scale for intention of entrepreneur was adaptation from theory of Linan (2008). Participants in this study Students of Universitas Brawijaya with the number of participants 100 participants, consisting of male participants as many as 43 participants and women as many as 57 participants. Analysis method using product Moment Pearson with significance value 0,404. The conclusion of this study a significant correlation with the direction of a positive relationship between, and can be interpreted with the higher also the level of entrepreneurship intention in the students of Universitas Brawijaya, and vice versa.
