Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan kontrol diri dengan intensi safety riding pada remaja akhir pengendara sepeda motor. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis kuantitatif dan dilaksanakan di Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Subyek penelitian ini sebanyak 109 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel accidental sampling. Teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuisioner yang terdiri dari skala kontrol diri yang disusun oleh peneliti berdasarkan teori Averill (Ghufron dan Risnawati, 2012) yang terdiri dari 26 aitem dan skala intensi safety riding yang diadaptasi dari Hadiwijaya (2016) yang terdiri dari 15 aitem. Metode analisis data menggunakan teknik product moment pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara kontrol diri dengan intensi safety riding pada remaja akhir pengendara sepeda motor (r = 0,123. p = 0,203).
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship of self-control with the intention of safety riding in late adolescent motorcycle driver. The research methodology of this research was quantitative methodology and implemented in Brawijaya University Malang. The subjects of this study were 109 people with accidental 8 sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study was using questionnaire that included self-control and scale of intention safety riding was adapted from Hadiwijaya (2016) consisted of 15 items. To measure self control, the scale used was arranged by the researcher suited with the self control aspects of Averill (Ghufron and Risnawati, 2012) which consisted of 26 items. Data analysis methods is product moment pearson techniques.The result of this study showed that there was no relationship between self control with the intention of safety riding in late adolescent motorcycle driver (r = 0,123. p = 0,203
