Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas mengenai percaloan tenaga kerja industri yang ada di Desa Bendo dalam rekrutmen karyawan industri di PIEB. Percaloan tenaga kerja industri di Desa Bendo ini sangat penting untuk dikaji karena munculnya percaloan tersebut disebabkan oleh kehadiran kawasan industri PIEB yang hanya membuka peluang kerja berupa kesempatan kerja di sektor industri untuk masyarakat Desa Bendo. Namun kesempatan kerja tersebut tidak mudah untuk diakses karena persaingan yang ketat atau kualifikasi yang disyaratkan tidak sesuai dengan kualifikasi masyarakat Desa Bendo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan reproduksi percaloan tenaga kerja industri yang selama ini berjalan di Desa Bendo dalam rekrutmen karyawan industri di PIEB. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Strukturasi yang dikemukakan oleh Anthony Giddens untuk menganalisis reproduksi sosial percaloan tenaga kerja industri yang selama ini terjadi di Desa Bendo. Selanjutnya, metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil temuan data di lapangan menunjukkan bahwasannya pola reproduksi sosial percaloan di Desa Bendo mengalami tiga kali perubahan terbagi dalam 3 fase percaloan. Reproduksi sosial percaloan pada fase I dilandasi oleh skema dualitas D-S-L (Dominasi-Signifikasi- Legitimasi), fase I ini berjalan dengan titik tolak dominasi calo. Pada fase II reproduksi sosial percaloan dilandasi oleh skema dualitas L-D-S (Legitimasi-Dominasi-Signifikasi), fase II ini berjalan dengan dominasi calo yang didasari oleh legitimasi calo yang diperoleh dari perusahaan. Pada fase III reproduksi sosial percaloan dilandasi oleh skema dualitas D-S-L (Dominasi-Signifikasi-Legitimasi), keterulangan percaloan pada fase III ini berjalan dengan dominasi calo. Perubahan skema dualitas yang mendasri reproduksi sosial percaloan tersebut merupakan bentuk penyesuaian agar percaloan terus-menerus berlangsung hingga saat ini.
English Abstract
This research discusses the existing industrial labor broker in Bendo Village in the recruitment of industrial employees in PIEB. The industrial labor broker in Bendo Village is very important to be studied because the occurrence of such brokering is caused by the presence of PIEB industrial area which only opens job opportunities in the industrial sector for Bendo Village community. However, such employment opportunities are not easy to access due to the strict competition or the required qualifications not in accordance with the Bendo Village community qualification. The purpose of this research is to describe reproduction of industrial labor brokers that have been happening in Bendo Village in recruitment of industrial employees in PIEB. This reasearch uses Structuration Theory proposed by Anthony Giddens to analyze the brokerage of industrial labor that has been happening in Bendo Village. Furthermore, the method in this study using qualitative method with case study approach. The findings of field data indicate that the pattern of social reproduction of brokers in Bendo Village has experienced three changes divided into 3 phases of brokering. The social reproduction of the brokering in phase I is based on the D-S-L duality (Domination-Signification-Legitimacy) scheme, phase I runs with the starting point of dominance of brokers. In phase II the social reproduction of brokers is based on the L-D-S duality (Legitimation-Domination-Significant) scheme, phase II runs with the dominance of brokers based on the legitimacy of brokers obtained from the company. In Phase III, social reproduction of brokers is based on the D-S-L duality (Domination-Significa- Legitimation) scheme, the repetition of brokering in Phase III runs with the dominance of brokers. The change in the duality scheme that underlies the social reproduction of the brokering is a form of adjustment to keep the brokering going on until now.
