Abstract
Skizofrenia merupakan gangguan jiwa terberat dan terbanyak. Masalah yang sering terjadi pada penderita skizofrenia adalah stigma masyarakat yang dapat mempengaruhi penanganan bagi penderitanya. Bagi penderita, hal tersebut menjadikan halangan baginya untuk menjalankan fungsi sosialnya kembali di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan stigma dengan perilaku masyarakat dalam mendukung fungsi sosial penderita skizofrenia. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional. Pemilihan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, berjumlah sebanyak 67 orang masyarakat Dusun Wiloso, Desa Gondowangi, Malang. Analisa data menggunakan uji statik spearman rank. Hasil uji didapatkan bahwa p-value 0,000<0,05 dan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,417. Nilai tersebut menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang sedang antara stigma dengan perilaku masyarakat dalam mendukung fungsi sosial pada penderita skizofrenia dengan arah hubungan yang bernilai negatif, yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang terbalik artinya semakin tinggi stigma masyarakat maka semakin buruk perilaku masyarakat dalam mendukung fungsi sosial penderita skizofrenia. Disarankan kepada Dinas Kesehatan untuk mencanangkan program peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang skizofrenia untuk meminimalisir stigma terhadap penderita sehingga masyarakat dapat lebih mendukung fungsi sosial penderita dalam kembali produktif dimasyarakat.
English Abstract
Schizophrenia is the most severe and highest incident. The problem that often occurs in people with schizophrenia is the public stigma that can affect treatment for sufferer. For patients, it makes an obstacle for him to run a social function back in society. The aims of this study are to analyze how the relationship of stigma with the behavior of community in supporting of the social function of schizophrenics. The study design used is cross sectional. The sample selection using purposive sampling technique, numbering as many as 67 people in the Dusun Wiloso, Gondowangi village, Malang. Statistical data analysis using Spearman rank test. The test results showed that the p-value 0.000 <0.05 and a correlation coefficient of -0,417. The value indicates a moderate relations between the stigma with the behavior of the community in supporting of social function in schizophrenics with the direction of the relationship is negative, which showed the existence of an inverse relationship means that the higher the stigma that surrounds the worse the behavior of community in supporting of the social function of schizophrenics. It is recommended to Health agency launched a program to increase public knowledge about schizophrenia to minimize the stigma so that people can better support the social function of patients in the back of productive society.
