Rosalina, Erlinda Resti Ayu (2017) Pembuatan Pupuk Kompos (Kajian Proporsi Blotong Dan Kotoran Kambing Dengan Lama Waktu Pengomposan). Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

English Abstract

Filter cake and goat manure is an organic material that its availability is quite a lot and has not been utilized optimally. However, the filter cake has a fairly low nitrogen content. Goat manure has a high nitrogen content. The combination of filter cake and goat manure can be maximized by the composting process. In order for the composting process can take place more quickly it is necessary the addition of decomposer microorganism such as petrofast. The purpose of this research is to know the proportion of materials (blotong and goat manure) and the right time of composting in order to produce compost that has the best quality in accordance with SNI. The research used Randomized Block Design (RAK) Factorial with 2 factors, ie proportion of ingredients consisting of 3 levels (25% filter cake + 75% goat manure, 50% filter cake + 50% goat manure, 75% filter cake + 25% goat manure) and the length of time of composting consists of 3 levels (10, 16 and 22 days). Test data, moisture content, C-organic, nitrogen, C/N ratio, phosphor and calium were analyzed using variance analysis (ANOVA), if the result showed a real difference then in the follow-up test with 5% BNT test. The best treatment determination was obtained from the mean of each parameter and compared with the compositional SNI 19-7030-2004. The results showed that the best treatment was the proportion of the ingredients (25% blotong + 75% goat manure) and 16 days of composting time having water content 42.30%, nitrogen 2.12%, C-organic 26.96% , C/N ratio of 12.70, phosphor of 1.15% and calium of 0.86%.
