Abstract
Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) merupakan salah satu bentuk paradigma pembangunan di Indonesia yang secara langsung maupun tidak langsung berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan pendapatan perekonomian daerah maupun nasional. Kota Batu merupakan salah satu Kota yang menarik dan berpotensi untuk pengembangan dunia usaha seperti UMKM. Salah satu produk unggulan di UMKM Batu sendiri adalah produk dari olahan apel, antara lain keripik apel, kerupuk apel, sari buah apel, sirup apel, permen apel, dodol apel dan bronis apel. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji secara empirik pengaruh antar faktor seperti orientasi pembelajaran, kapablitas teknologi, inovasi, serta ketidakpastian lingkungan terhadap kinerja usaha berbasis olahan apel di Kota Batu. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode statistik Partial Least Square (PLS). Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 47 UMKM berbasis olahan apel di Kota Batu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara penyebaran dan pengisian kuesioner serta wawancara langsung dengan pemilik UMKM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orientasi pembelajaran dan kapabilitas teknologi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap inovasi, selanjutnya orientasi pembelajaran berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja usaha, sedangkan kapabilitas teknologi tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan.terhadap kinerja usaha. Kemampuan inovasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja usaha, sehingga kemampuan inovasi memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara orientasi pembelajaran terhadap kinerja usaha, serta inovasi dapat memediasi secara complete hubungan antara kapabilitas teknologi terhadap kinerja usaha. Ketidakpastian lingkungan memoderasi hubungan antara inovasi dengan kinerja usaha.
English Abstract
Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is one form of development paradigm in Indonesia that directly or indirectly affect the growth of regional and national economic revenues. Batu city is one of the interesting cities and has potential for the development of business world such as MSMEs. One of the excellent products in MSMEs originally from Batu is a product from apples processing, like apple chips, apple crackers, apple juice, apple syrup, apple candy, apple dodoland apple bronis. Purpose of this research is to empirically test the influence of factors such as learning orientation, technological capability, innovation, and environmental uncertainty on the business performance of Batu City’s agroindustrial MSMEs. This research method used statistical method of Partial Least Square (PLS). Samples used are 47 MSMEs based on processed apples in Batu City. In order to collect data, some questionnaires was distributed and filled through direct interviews with MSMEs owners. The results showed of organizational learning and technological capability have positive and significant effect, Furthermore organizational learning have positive and significant effect toward business performance, while technological capability to business performance has no positive and significant effect. Innovation capability have positive and significant effect toward business performance, so innovation mediates partially the relationship between organizational learning toward business performance, and innovation mediates complete the relationship between technological capabilities to business performance. Environmental uncertainty moderating the relationship between innovation and business performance.
