Abstract
Skripsi merupakan tugas akhir yang dibebankan kepada mahasiswa untuk menyelesaikan pendidikan program sarjana yang terdiri dari proposal dan hasil. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang diduga mempengaruhi lama pengerjaan proposal skripsi seperti Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK), Beasiswa,frekuensi konsultasi dan lain sebagainya. Oleh sebab itu, perlu diketahui faktor-faktor yang memepengaruhi lama pengerjaan proposal skripsi. Salah satu metode yang digunakan adalah analisis survival yang bertujuan menaksir peluang kelangsungan hidup, kematian, dan peristiwa lain sampai waktu tertentu. Salah satu metode dalam analisis survival yaitu model parametrik. Kasus yang diangkat pada penelitian ini adalah faktor-faktor yang memepengaruhi lama pengerjaan proposal skripsi mahasiswa program studi statistika Universitas Brawijaya angkatan 2013. Penelitian menujukkan bahwa data lama pengerjaan proposal skripsi mahasiswa program studi statistika Universitas Brawijaya angkatan 2013 menyebar Weibull dengan parameter ( 2.119 , 119.31 ) dan faktor yang berpengaruh adalah frekuensi konsultasi.
English Abstract
Undergraduate thesis is a final assignment that should be done by university students to finish their undergraduate program. It consists of proposal and result. There are several factors that affect thesis proposal writing duration such as Grade Point Average (GPA), scholarships, consultation, etc. Therefore, it is important to know what factors affecting the thesis proposal writing duration. One of the methods used is survival analysis that aims to estimate the probability of one’s survival, death, and other phenomena in a particular time. One of the methods in survival analysis is parametric model. The cases were factors that affect thesis proposal writing duration of Statistical Science students, batch 2013, of Universitas Brawijaya. Based on the result of the research, it could be concluded that thesis proposal writing duration of Statistical Science students, batch 2013, of Universitas Brawijaya was obtained parameter (2.119, 119.31) by using Weibull distribution and factor that affected was the intensity of consultation.
