Abstract
Penelitian ini didasarkan atas tingkat persaingan pada sektor industri yang semakin ketat. Setiap perusahaan berusaha mendapatkan laba yang maksimal. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan memerlukan strategi yang tepat agar dapat bersaing di pasar global dan juga agar dapat mendapatkan laba yang maksimal. Salah satu strategi yang dapat diterapkan di perusahaan adalah dengan cara meningkatkan efisiensi biaya produksi. just in time system akan memberi alternatif bagi perusahaan agar dapat mengurangi atau menghilangkan inefisiensi yang terjadi dalam proses produksi sehingga dapat menurunkan biaya produksi dan menaikkan laba pada perusahaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan just in time system pada perusahaan KBM-IK II Gresik dapat meningkatkan efisiensi biaya produksi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penilitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah produksi dan penjualan aktual pada tahun 2016, biaya tenaga kerja dan waktu produksi. Analisis data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini yaitu analisis terhadap prestasi fasilitas dan pekerja. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan just in time pada KBM-IK II Gresik dapat meningkatkan efisiensi biaya produksi produk RST flooring. Efisiensi tersebut berupa peningkatan produktivitas sebesar 72,4 %, penurunan waktu produksi sebesar 21,28 % dan juga penurunan biaya tenaga kerja langsung sebesar 21,28 %. Berdasarkan hasil temuan tersebut, peneliti dapat memberikan saran yang diharapkan menjadi bahan pertimbangan yaitu KBM-IK II Gresik dapat menerapkan just in time system untuk mendukung proses produksinya, merubah sistem penggajian pegawai menjadi sistem penggajian periodik dan KBM-IK II Gresik juga perlu melakukan perbaikan terus-menerus agar penerapan just in time system berjalan dengan maksimal.
English Abstract
This research is based on the level of competition in the increasingly tight industrial sector industrial. Every company is trying to get the maximum profit. Therefore, companies need the right strategy in order to compete in global markets and also in order to obtain the maximum profit. One strategy that can be applied in the company isby increasingthe efficiency of production cost. Just in time systemwill provide an alternative for the company to reduce or eliminate the inefficiencies that occur in the production process so as to reduce production costs and raise profits in the company. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the application of just in time system at KBM-IK II Gresik can increase production cost efficiency .The method used is descriptive method with quantitative approach. The focus of this research is the production and actual sales in 2016, labor costs and production time. Data analysis was conducted in this study is an analysis of the achievements of the facility and workers. The results of this study indicate that the application of just in timeat KBM-IK II Gresik can improve the efficiency of production cost RST flooring. The efficiency of the form of increased productivity by 72.4%, a decrease of 21.28% of production time and also a decrease in direct labor costs amounted to 21.28%. Based on the findings, the researcher can give suggestion that is expected to be consideration that is KBM-IK II Gresik can apply just in time system to support the production process, change the salary system of employee into periodic payroll system and KBM-IK II Gresik also need to make continuous improvement for maximum result
