Abstract
Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Indonesia memiliki peran yang strategis dalam pembangunan ekonomi nasional. Salah satu UMKM yang mengalami perkembangan cukup pesat yaitu UMKM Pia di Kampung Pia Dusun Warurejo Pasuruan. Kontribusi dan peran UMKM di Indonesia yang strategis ternyata masih dihadapkan pada berbagai permasalahan. Seiring dengan bertambahnya waktu, perkembangan UMKM pia di Warurejo memiliki beberapa kendala baik dari segi ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan sehingga tingkat keberlanjutan sentra industri pia dapat terancam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor – faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap keberlanjutan usaha pembuatan pia di Warurejo Pasuruan. Permasalahan keberlanjutan usaha pembuatan Pia di Kampung Pia menjadi masalah yang bersifat sistem dan menarik untuk diteliti lebih lanjut. Bersifat sistem sebab adanya kebijakan dari salah satu pihak dapat mempengaruhi sektor – sektor yang lainnya karena saling terkait. Salah satu metode pemodelan yang tepat untuk mengkaji permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan pendekatan dinamika sistem. Model dinamika sistem dari penelitian ini akan menggambarkan hubungan faktor-faktor meliputi sosial, ekonomi, dan lingkungan yang berpengaruh dengan keberlanjutan usaha. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu identifikasi masalah, identifikasi variabel penelitian, pengumpulan data, penentuan sampel penelitian, penyusunan dan penyebaran kuesioner, uji instrumen penelitian, analisis data, dan pembuatan kesimpulan dan saran. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 38 orang pelaku usaha pembuatan pia di Kampung Pia. Langkah analisis data yang dilakukan meliputi pembuatan model konseptual (Causal Loop Diagram), pembuatan Stock and Flow Diagram, formulasi model, simulasi model, dan pemilihan alternatif strategi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, variabel yang mempengaruhi keberlanjutan usaha pembuatan pia di Kampung Pia Warurejo, Pasuruan secara langsung yaitu variabel pendapatan dan keberlanjutan lingkungan, serta variabel yang mempengaruhi secara tidak langsung yaitu variabel penghematan energi dan variabel keunggulan kompetitif. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa persentase perubahan alternatif strategi terhadap tingkat keberlanjutan usaha yang paling tinggi adalah penambahan nilai variabel keberlanjutan lingkungan (alternatif 1) sebesar 25% sehingga diperoleh perubahan persentasenya sebesar 83%. Penambahan nilai keberlanjutan lingkungan dapat dicapai oleh pemilik usaha pembuatan pia di Kampung Pia Warurejo, Pasuruan dengan menerapkan konsep eko-efisiensi. yaitu efisiensi pada bahan baku pembuatan pia yang digunakan, melakukan revalorize by product, dan melakukan kerjasama dengan pemerintah setempat dan akademisi.
English Abstract
Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia have a strategic role in national economic development. One of MSMEs that experienced a fairly rapid development is which produce Pia in Kampung Pia Warurejo Pasuruan. The contribution and role of MSMEs in Indonesia is still facing with various problems. The development of MSMEs in Warurejo have been having some economic, social and environmental constraints so that the sustainability of the pia industry center from market demand is fluctuating every year. This study aimed to identify the factors that affect the sustainability of the pia production in Warurejo Pasuruan. The problem of business sustainability of Pia production in Kampung Pia becomes a systematic problem and interesting for further investigation. The systematic problem caused by the policy of one party may affect other sectors due to their relationship. One of the best modeling methods to examine the problem is system dynamics approach. The system dynamics model of this study illustrated the relationship of factors including socials, economics, and environmentals influences with business sustainability. The steps taken in this research were identification of problem, identification of research variables, collection of data, determination of research sample, preparation and dissemination of questionnaires, test of research instrument, analysis of data, and making conclusion and suggestion. Collection of data in this study was conducted using questionnaires. The respondents in this research were 38 businessmen of pia producers in Kampung Pia. Analysis of data steps were conceptual model creation (Causal Loop Diagram), Stock and Flow Diagram creation, model formulation, model simulation, and alternative strategy selection. Based on the result of research, the variables that influenced the business sustainability of pia production in Kampung Pia Warurejo, Pasuruan directly were the income and environmental sustainability variables. The variables that indirectly affected were the energy saving and competitive advantage. The simulation result showed that the percentage of strategic alternative change to the highest level of business sustainability was the addition of environmental sustainability (alternative value 1) of 25% so that the percentage change is obtained by 83%. The addition of environmental sustainability can be achieved by the owner of the pia business in Kampung Pia Warurejo, Pasuruan by applying the concept of eco-efficiency, for examples by the efficiency of raw materials used for pia production, revalorize by product, and cooperate with local government and academic.
