Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi rice transplanter dapat membantu mengatasi kelangkaan tenaga kerja tanam padi. Penggunaan dan pemilihan jenis rice transplanter harus sesuai dengan pola tanam yang diinginkan. Rice transplanter dengan tipe indo jarwo menggunakan sistem tanam jajar legowo. Persemaian bibit pada rice transplanter dilakukan pada kotak persemaian tray/dapog dengan lebar 18,3 cm dan panjang 58 cm. Pada pengisian media tanam, pada dasar dapog diberikan media koran maupun plastik. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan penggantian media tanam koran menggunakan media tanam organik (MTO) dengan bahan dasar batang eceng gondok dan batang pisang. Dilakukan penambahan sekat 2 jalur (vertikal dan horizontal) pada penggunaan MTO dengan tujuan untuk pengurangan jumlah benih yang digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 3 macam perlakuan persemaian padi dengan media koran tanpa penyekatan (AK) sebagai kontrol, persemaian dengan MTO tanpa sekat (AO), dan persemaian dengan MTO dan sekat (AS) dan dilakukan pengulangan sebanyak 3 kali ulangan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan ANOVA pada taraf 5% dan 1% kemudian dilakukan uji lanjut BNT untuk mengetahui pengaruh antar perlakuan. Parameter pengamatan yang dilakukan selama penelitian yaitu: pertumbuhan benih meliputi tinggi tanaman (cm), perbandinganpenggunaan benih, kondisi dan diameter gulungan, perbandingan pengairan sedangkan untuk uji kinerja rice transplanter meliputi jumlah pengeluaran bibit tiap lubang, jarak tanam, dan standart deviasi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan penggunaan AO dan AS berpengaruh terhadapkondisi dan diameter gulungan, namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, jumlah pengeluaran bibit dan jarak tanam pada rice transplanter.

English Abstract

The use of rice transplanter technology can help to overcome the scarcity of rice planting labor. The use and selection of the type of rice transplanter should be in accordance with the desired cropping pattern. Rice transplanter with indo jarwo type using legowo row planting system. Seedlings in rice transplanter is done on tray / dapog nursery box with width 18.3 cm and length 58 cm. On the filling of planting media, on the basis of dapog given newspaper and plastic media. In this research is done replacement media planting newspaper using organic planting media (MTO) with basic ingredients stem water hyacinth and banana stem. Two additional paths (vertical and horizontal) were added to the use of MTO in order to reduce the number of seeds used. This research used Randomized Block Design (RAK) method with 3 kinds of rice nursery treatment with newspaper without insulation (AK) as control, nursery with MTO without partition (AO), and seeding with MTO with insulation(AS) and repeated 3 repeated times. This data were analyzed using at 5% and 1% then conducted further BNT test to know the affect between treatments. Observation parameters conducted during the research were: seed growth included plant height (cm), comparison of use of seed, condition and diameter of coil, comparison of irrigation while for rice transplanter performance test include the amount of seed expenditure per hole, plant spacing, and standard deviation. The results obtained by the use of AO and AS affect the condition and diameter of the roll, but does not affect the growth of plant height, the amount of seed expenditure per hole and plant spacing on rice transplanter.
