Abstract

PT. Filma Utama Soap merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi Hand Body Lotion (HBL) Marina. Dalam menghadapi persaingan yang ketat, perusahaan perlu mengetahui kemampuan produksi agar dapat bersaing dengan kompetitor. Faktanya kemampuan produksi HBL Marina masih memiliki kendala dikarenakan adanya perbedaan output aktual dengan target yang telah ditetapkan. Salah satu cara untuk mengetahui kemampuan produksi dengan melakukan pengukuran produktivitas. HBL Marina mempunyai beberapa macam varian yaitu UV White, UV Total Care dan UV Natural. Pada proses produksi HBL Marina terdapat pada satu line produksi yang sama mulai dari proses mixing hingga storage, sedangkan pada proses filling terdapat perbedaan yaitu line semi otomatis untuk HBL jenis UV White & UV Total Care dan line otomatis untuk HBL jenis Natural. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengukur tingkat produktivitas, mengidentifikasi kriteria yang memiliki produktivitas rendah, mengidentifikasi risiko dan mengetahui akar permasalahan risiko serta rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan kepada PT. Filma Utama Soap. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), Objective Matrix (OMAX) & Traffic Light System (TLS), Consequence-Likelihood Analysis (CLA) dan Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Dari metode AHP akan didapatkan prioritas kriteria produktivitas serta bobot tiap kriteria dan OMAX & TLS untuk mengetahui nilai produktivitas serta berada di kategori zona merah, kuning atau hijau. Setelah mengambil 2 peringkat produktivitas terendah untuk dilanjutkan dengan menggunakan metode CLA agar mengetahui tingkat risiko tiap kriteria dan terakhir dengan menggunakan RCA untuk mengidentifikasi akar permasalahan penyebab terjadinya produktivitas yang rendah. Berdasarkan pengukuran produktivitas dengan menggunakan Objective Matrix di PT. Filma Utama Soap, diketahui indeks produktivitas pada line semi otomatis terendah Juni sebesar -23,04% dan tertinggi Januari sebesar 65,85% sedangkan line otomatis terendah Desember sebesar -26,71% dan tertinggi September sebesar 25,97%. Peringkat 2 kriteria produktivitas terendah pada line semi otomatis, kriteria prduktivitas terendah adalah produktivitas material dengan kategori risiko extreme dan machine dengan kategori risiko extreme. Sedangkan untuk line otomatis kriteria produktivitas yang terendah adalah produktivitas machine dengan kategori risiko extreme dan produktivitas energy dengan kategori risiko extreme. Saran perbaikan line semi otomatis yaitu melakukan inspeksi botol yang dilakukan oleh operator, melakukan training tambahan sebulan sekali selama 3 bulan setelah kontrak. Sedangkan pada line otomatis adalah perlunya perumusan ulang mengenai perawtan berkala dan preventive dengan menyesuaikan dari kondisi lapangan.

English Abstract

PT. Filma Utama Soap is a company that produces Marina Hand Body Lotion (HBL). To face the current intense competition, companies needed to know the production capability to compete with competitors. The production capability of Marina HBL still has a problem because the actual output was different than the target. One of the method to analyze the production capability is productivity measurement. Marina HBL has several products such as HBL UV White, HBL UV Total Care and HBL Natural. They are produced on the same production line, from the mixing process until storage. Meanwhile, the filling process is divided into 2 production lines, which are semi-automatic line for HBL UV White & UV Total Care and automatic line for HBL Natural. The purposes of this research are to measure the productivity level, identify criterias which has low productivity, identify risks and identify the root causes of risks and then make a recommendations that can be given to the company. The methods of this research were Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), Objective Matrix (OMAX) & Traffic Light System (TLS), Consequence-Likelihood Analysis (CLA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). AHP was used to identify the weighted value of each criteria while the OMAX dan TLS were used to identify the productivity value and know wether the category was in red, yellow or green zone. The two lowest rank in the productivity was taken to identify the risk level of every criteria by using CLA. And finally, by using RCA, the root cause if risk was identified. Based on OMAX productivity measurement in PT Filma Utama Soap, the lowest productivity index in semi-automatic line was -23.04% in June and the highest was 65.85% in January. Meanwhile the lowest in automatic line was -26.71% in December and the highest 25.97% in September. Second lowest productivity ranks of production line will be identify the risk category. Semi-automatic productivity criteria is material productivity with extreme risk category and machine productivity with extreme risk category. While the lowest automatic productivity criteria is machine productivity with extreme risk category and energy productivity with extreme risk category. Recommendations given for semi-automatic line are to inspect bottle by the filling operator, give additional training for change over process operator. Meanwhile the reccomendation for automatic line is reschedule of maintenance machine.
