Abstract
Meskipun penggantian gigi yang hilang dengan gigi tiruan penting untuk memperbaiki estetik, fungsi mengunyah dan berbicara, banyak orang tidak melakukannya karena tingginya biaya. Adanya bantuan biaya dengan limitasi untuk pembuatan gigi tiruan yang diberikan BPJS kesehatan bagi pesertanya seharusnya mampu meringankan biaya yang diperlukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kepesertaan BPJS kesehatan mandiri dan pekerja penerima upah terhadap demand pembuatan gigi tiruan. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah survei deskriptif analitik observasional dengan responden 21 peserta BPJS kesehatan di Setia Husada yang diindikasikan gigi tiruan oleh dokter gigi dan bersedia menandatangani informed consent. Responden diberi kuesioner tentang demand pembuatan gigi tiruan, serta diamati keputusannya dalam membuat gigi tiruan. Uji korelasi menunjukkan kepesertaan BPJS kesehatan memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap demand gigi tiruan (sig.0.04), peserta pekerja penerima upah memiliki hubungan yang paling signifikan (sig.0,027). Uji regresi linier berganda menunjukkan pengaruh antar variabel sebesar 33,9% (sig.0,006), pekerja penerima upah berpengaruh sebesar 25,6% (sig.0,032) terhadap demand gigi tiruan. Bantuan sejumlah biaya dari BPJS kesehatan untuk pembuatan gigi tiruan ternyata mampu meringankan faktor tarif sehingga dapat meningkatkan demand. Kesimpulannya adalah adanya hubungan dan pengaruh signifikan antara kepesertaan BPJS kesehatan terhadap demand pembuatan gigi tiruan, serta adanya perbedaan demand antar kepesertaannya, pekerja penerima upah adalah yang paling dominan.
English Abstract
Although replacement of missing teeth with denture’s important to improve aesthetics, chewing and speaking function, many people didn’t do it because of high cost needed. The presence of limit relief cost for making denture provided by National Health Insurance Organizer (BPJS Kesehatan) for the participants should be able to relieve the cost needed. This study aimed to describe the effect of independent and employee participants towards denture demand. The research design used is observational analitic descriptive survey with the respondents: 21 BPJS’ participants in Setia Husada who got denture indication from dentist and willing to sign informed consent. Respondents were given questionnaire about denture demand, and observed about their decision of making denture. Correlation test showed that BPJS’ membership had significant correlation towards denture demand (sig. 0.04), employee participants is the most significant. Binary regression test showed 33,9% significant effect between variables, employee participants had significant effects towards denture demand for 25,6% (sig.0,032). The limit relief cost provided by BPJS kesehatan could relieve the cost, so it increased the denture demand. The conclusion is there was a significant correlation and effect of BPJS’ membership towards denture demand, also demand differences between the memberships, employee participants is the most dominant.
