Abstract

Teknologi informasi mulai digunakan untuk membangun pemerintahan berbasis E-Goverment dengan menerapkan teknologi informasi di dalam sistem kerjanya guna rnemudahkan dalam proses kerja dan pelayanan pada masyarakat. Dengan adanya pengembangan teknologi informasi di Pemerintahan diharapkan para Aparatur Sipil Negara kinerja bisa menjadi lebih cepat dan efesien. Pada unit Satker Inspektorat Jenderal Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan Surabaya, surat masuk yang belum terdokumentasi secara elektronik dan kegiatan disposisi surat masuk yang selama ini menggunakan buku agenda manual menyebabkan proses pencarian dokumen surat terkendala ketika arsip surat masuk begitu banyak dan penggunaan kertas yang berlebihan sangat memboroskan APBN keuangan negara dari berbagai kementerian/ lembaga pemerintahan. Untuk memudahkan proses pencarian dan pelacakan alur surat masuk sampai surat selesai, maka diperlukan aplikasi dokumentasi surat pada Inspektorat Jenderal Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan Surabaya. Dalam hal ini, aplikasi dokumentasi surat dibangun menggunakan framework Codeigniter dengan penerapan web semantic dengan harapan dapat mempermudah dalam proses pencarian dokurren surat.

English Abstract

Information technology began to be used to build an F-Government based government by applying information technology in its work system to facilitate the work process and service to the community. With the development of information technology in the Government is expected the State Civil Apparatus performance can be faster and efficient. in the work unit of Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Labor of Surabaya, incoming mail that has not been documented electronically and activities of disposition of incoming mail which has been using manual book led to the process of searching document letters constrained when the archive of incoming mail so much and excessive use of paper very wasted state budget From various ministries I government agencies. To facilitate the process of searching and tracking the incoming mail flow until the mail is completed, it is necessary to developmail documentation application at inspectorate General Ministry of Labor of Surabaya. in this case, the mail documentation application is built using the Codeigniter framework with the application of semantic web in hopes to simplify the process of searching document letters.
