Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak tangkat persaingan industri perbankan, ukuran bank dan credit buffer terhadap stabilitas bank umum konvensional di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel 10 bank umum konvensional di Indonesia tahun 2011-2014. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah model regresi data panel yakni menggabungkan data time series dengan cross section. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat persaingan industri perbankan dan credit buffer mempunyai pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap stabilitas bank umum konvensional di Indonesia, sedangkan ukuran bank mempunyai pengaruh negatif signfikan.
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the impact of competition in the banking industry, bank size and credit buffer on the stability of conventional commercial banks in Indonesia. This research uses sample of 10 conventional commercial banks in Indonesia in 2011-2014. The method of analysis used is panel data regression that combines time series data with cross section. The result of the research shows that the level of competition of banking industry and credit buffer has a significant positive effect on the stability of conventional commercial banks in Indonesia, while bank size has significant negative influence.
