Abstract
Pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor pembangunan yang saat ini sedang digalakkan oleh pemerintah. Hal ini karena pariwisata mempunyai peran yang sangat penting dalam pembangunan Indonesia khususnya sebagai penghasil devisa negara di samping sektor migas. Demikian juga dengan Kota Malang yang sedang gencar meningkatkan pendapatan dari segi pariwisata. Kabupaten Malangyang merupakan bagian dari Malang Raya memiliki potensi pariwisata yang cukup tinggi. Pariwisata di kabupaten Malang merupakan destinasi wisata yang banyak dikunjungi oleh wisatawan lokal maupun wisatawan mancanegara. Akan tetapi, banyaknya objek wisata di Kabupaten Malang tidak diimbangi dengan ketersediaan fasilitas yang memadai. Permasalahan tersebut yang melandasi peneliti untuk mengkaji mengenai Upaya Perum Perhutani Dalam Pengembangan Obyek Wisata “Tebing Lembah Kera” Sebagai Destinasi Pariwisata Di Kabupaten Malang. Upaya pengembangan tersebut meliputi peningkatan ketersediaan fasilitas umum, perbaikan akses jalan menuju tempat wisata serta pemberian edukasi terhadap warga setempat. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif untuk memperoleh data potensi serta peran penting pemerintah dalam pengembangan Obyek Wisata “Tebing Lembah Kera”. Ketersediaan fasilitas umum yang terbatas, akses jalan menuju tempat wisata yang kurangbaik serta edukasi warga setempat terkait Upaya Pengembangan Obyek Wisata “Tebing Lembah Kera” merupakan beberapa permasalahan yang perlu diselesaikan. Oleh karena itu, pengelolaan Obyek Wisata “Tebing Lembah Kera” hendaknya perlu dikembangkan oleh sumberdaya manusia sekitar serta Perum Perhutani mengingat banyak problema terkait dalam pengembangan Obyek Wisata “Tebing Lembah Kera”.
English Abstract
Tourism resort is one of the development sectors currently being promoted by the government. It is due to the paramount importance role of tourism in the development of Indonesia, particularly as the source of nation’s fund of besides oil and gas sector. Likewise with Malang city that is currently developing to increase its local fund through tourism resort, Malang regency, which is part of Malang Raya, also has high tourism potential. Tourism spots in the district of Malang arekinds of tourist destination that is visited by many local and foreign tourists. Unless, the plenty number of tourist resorts in Malang regency is not balanced with the availability of adequate tourism facilities. Those problem sunderlies this research and trigger the researcher to study about the efforts of Perum Perhutani in Developing Tourism Resort "Cliffs Monkey Valley" as The Leading Tourism Destination in Malang regency. These efforts covers increasing availability of public facilities, improving road access to tourism sites and providing education to local residents near with the tourism sites. In this research, the researcher used descriptive qualitative research to obtain potential data as well as the government's significant role in developing the tourismresort of "CliffMonkey Valley". The limited access of public facilities, the damaged roads access and the education of local people reagarding withthe efforts in developing the tourism resort "Cliffs Monkey Valley" are some of the issues that need to be resolved. Therefore, the management of tourism resort of "Cliff Monkey Valley" should be developed by the surrounding human resources and Perum Perhutani deeming the problems concerning with the development of tourism resort "Cliff Monkey Valley"
