Abstract
Keberadaan industri kecil memberikan dukungan dalam upaya untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat sehingga segala bentuk potensi yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat dapat dimaksimalkan. Tujuan penelitian peran sentra industri keramik dalam upaya pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Analisis data dalam penelitian kualitatif. Aktivitas dalam analisis data yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, menarik kesimpulan/ verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan yaitu Dinas Koperasi dan Usaha Kecil Menegah Kota Malang telah melakukan langkah antisipasi terkait dengan dukungan atas pencapaian tujuan yang telah ditetapan melalui program-program yang telah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah pusat. Langkah-langkah antisipasi yang telah disusun Kementerian Koperasi dan UKM yaitu peningkatan wawasan pelaku KUKM terhadap MEA, peningkatan efisiensi produksi dan manajemen usaha, peningkatan daya serap pasar produk KUKM lokal, penciptaan iklim usaha yang kondusif. Dinas Koperasi dan Usaha Kecil Menegah Kota Malang benar-benar memberikan manfaat dalam mendukung upaya pengembangan sumber daya manusia dan pada akhirnya mampu meningkatkan upaya peningkatan atau pengembangan usaha UMKM secara maksimal sehingga mampu bersaing dengan kondisi pasar bebas yang terjadi.
English Abstract
The existence of small industries provide support in an effort to empower the community so that all forms of potential owned by the community can be maximized. The purpose of research the role of ceramics industry center in the effort of economic empowerment of society. This research is a descriptive research. Data analysis in qualitative research. Activities in data analysis are: data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions / verification. Based on the results of research and discussion that has been done, it can be concluded that the Office of Cooperatives and Small Medium Enterprises Malang has done anticipation steps associated with the support of achievement of goals that have been established through programs that have been set by the central government. Anticipatory measures that have been developed by the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs are increasing the insight of KUKM actors towards MEA, increasing production efficiency and business management, enhancing the absorption capacity of local KUKM product market, creating a conducive business climate. epartment of Cooperatives and Small Enterprises Menegah Malang really provide benefits in support of human resources development efforts and ultimately able to increase efforts to increase or development of SMEs business to the maximum so as to compete with free market conditions that occur.
