Abstract
Kebutuhan informasi menjadi semakin penting sejalan dengan arus perkembangan teknologi yang terus maju. Dengan adanya perkembangan teknologi, maka penyebaran informasi dan data sangatlah cepat dan mudah. Hampir seluruh perusahaan berskala kecil maupun besar menggunakan sistem informasi untuk membantu memajukan perusahaan. Son Screen Printing Sidoarjo merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi pakaian berdasarkan permintaan pelanggan. Perusahaan ini melakukan proses dimana kain (barang setengah jadi) diubah menjadi pakaian siap pakai. Meskipun perusahaan sudah memiliki keuntungan yang sangat besar namun belum ada pencatatan yang lengkap mengenai persediaan barang dan transaksi penjualan. Hal ini menyebabkan perusahaan tidak mempunyai data pendukung untuk membuat laporan pendukung SPT Tahunan ke kantor pajak setiap tahunnya, perusahaan tidak dapat menyediakan rekapitulasi data persediaan barang dan transaksi penjualan untuk dianalisis persediaan barang kedepannya dan dianalisis permintaan pelanggan di waktu tertentu, dan informasi antara pemilik perusahaan dengan pegawai kurang real-time sehingga sering terjadi kesalahan komunikasi. Penentuan harga jual dilakukan dengan cara menghitung secara manual namun, terkadang dalam melakukan perhitungan harga pokok produksi terjadi kesalahan yang menyebabkan kerugian bagi perusahaan. Di samping kerugian yang dialami oleh perusahaan perhitungan secara manual cukup menyita waktu dari pemilik perusahaan untuk melayani pelanggan. Berdasarkan masalah-masalah yang diuraikan di atas, maka dapat diberikan solusi untuk mengembangkan suatu sistem informasi persediaan barang, harga pokok produksi, dan transaksi penjualan berbasis web pada Son Screen Printing Sidoarjo. Dalam pengerjaan sistem informasi menggunakan model pengembangan perangkat lunak Waterfall. Pengujian perangkat lunak menggunakan metode pengujian white-box testing, black-box testing, compatibility testing, user acceptance testing, dan evaluasi waktu kinerja sistem. Dari hasil pengujian perangkat lunak yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem informasi ini layak untuk digunakan.
English Abstract
The need for information becomes increasingly important due to technological advancement continues. With the development of technology, the dissemination of information and data is very fast and easy. Almost of small and large companies use information systems to improve company performance. Son Screen Printing Sidoarjo is a company that produces clothing based on customer demand. The company does a process from the fabric (semi-finished goods) is converted into finished garment. The company already had large profit but less inventory and transaction record. This causes the company doesn’t has sources for reporting SPT Tahunan, company can’t provide inventory and transactions recapitulation for forcasting future inventory and customer demand in a certain period, also information that owner has not shared real time with employee so sometimes causes misscomunicating. They determined the cost of production by manual counting so sometimes has a miscalculate and take more time to serve customer. Besides the losses experienced by the calculation company manually enough time consuming from the company owner to serve customers. Based on the research problem, solutions given are, to develop inventory information system, cost of goods production, and web-based sales transaction for Son Screen Printing Sidoarjo. Providing information system based on Waterfall software development model. The test runs white-box testing, blackbox testing, compatibility testing, user acceptance testing, and system time performance evaluation. From the results of software testing conducted can be concluded that the information system is feasible to use.
