Abstract
Batik di kabupaten Bojonegoro mengalami perkembangan yang cukup pesat, terutama setelah diadakannya lomba membatik oleh Dinas Kominfo kabupaten Bojonegoro pada tahun 2010 yang menghasilkan 14 macam motif batik baru. Dari ke 14 motif batik tersebut ada 3 jenis motif batik yang penulis anggap menarik untuk dikaji. Tiga motif ini lebih menonjolkan potensi alam yang dilihat dari hasil budaya dan kerajinannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi sebagai sumber data untuk menguraikan bentuk dan warna dari ketiga motif batik tersebut. Dalam pemecahan masalah ini penulis menggunakan teori sosiologi. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa ketiga motif batik tersebut merupakan hasil dari representasi pembuat batik. Bentuk deformasi motifnya merupakan representasi kekayaan alam di Bojonegoro. Pada pemilihan warnanya juga mengadobsi dari warna obyek alam yang ditiru atau menggunakan warna sebenarnya. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh culture masyarakat Bojonegoro sendiri yang berusaha untuk selalu merevitalisasi seni batik kepada generasi penerusnya, sebagai motif yang dihasilkan ditampilkan apa adanya sesuai dengan replika disekitarnya yang mempuyai makna khusus agar mudah dipahami oleh siapa saja. Kesederhanaan bentuk dan warna mempunyai makna pengharapan akan kedamaian dan kesejahteraan masyarakatnya.
English Abstract
Batik in Bojonegoro district experienced a fairly rapid development, especially after the holding of batik contest by the Department of Communications and Information Bojonegoro district in 2010 that produces 14 kinds of new batik motifs. Of the 14 batik motifs there are 3 types of batik motifs that the authors consider interesting to review. Judging from the number of buyers who choose this batik motif and the color and shape of the motive is allegedly the result of the representation of its maker about culture in Bojonegoro, the three batik motifs are Pari Sumilak, Sekar Jati and Sata Ganda Wangi. This research used qualitative descriptive method with interview and documentation as data source to describe the shape and color of the three batik motifs. From the results of the study concluded that the three batik motifs are the result of the representation of the maker and his hope for the city of Bojonegoro. The form of deformation of his motive is a representation of natural wealth in Bojonegoro. In the color selection also mengadobsi of the color of natural objects are imitated or use the actual color. This is influenced by the culture of Bojonegoro people themselves who strive to always revitalize the art of batik to the next generation, as the resulting motif is displayed as it is in accordance with the replica surrounding which mempuyai special meaning to be easily understood by anyone. The simplicity of form and color has the meaning of hope for the peace and prosperity of their people.
