Abstract
Visual lukisan Mistaram kubistis dekoratif yang unik pada karya Dinamika Kuda (1998), Gunungan (2000), Ritmedan Nada (2000), Boneka dan Panen (2001) melatarbelakangi ketertarikan penulis untuk meninjau lukisan menggunakan teori bahasa rupa. Bahasa rupa digunakan untuk mengkaji karya seni saratakan pesan, tanda, makna dan bercerita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan cara dan tata ungkap wimba pada lukisan Mistaram yang beraliran kubistis dekoratif dan untuk mengetahui makna pada lukisan Mistaram apabila dikaji menggunakan teori bahasa rupa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan sumber data lukisan pada pameran tunggal terakhir Mistaram pada tahun 2001 yang menggabungkan dua aliran yaitu kubistis dan dekoratif. Peneliti mengambil empat karya Mistaram yang memiliki corak kubistis dekoratif. Dari data tersebut akan dilakukan analisis sesuai rumusan masalah dan tujuan penelitian yang dipakai acuan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada setiap karya Mistaram terdapat unsure pengkomposisian bidang dan garis didalam karyanya. Corak kubistis dekoratif menghiasi keseluruh lukisan, cara wimba dan tata ungkap dalam pada lukisan Mistaram ada yang menggambarkan ruang dan waktu dan beberapa memberi kesan flat, wimba dibuat dalam bidang gambardua dimensi. Pada keempat karya Mistaram diatas masing – masing memiliki makna nasihat-nasihat yang tentang keseimbangan sebuah kehidupan dunia maupun akhirat sebagai manusia.
English Abstract
Visual paintings of unique decorative cubic mistaram on the work of Horse Dynamics (1998), Gunungan (2000), Rhythms and Tones (2000), Dolls and Harvest (2001) lie behind the author's interest to review painting using the theory of language. Visual language is used to examine artwork loaded with messages, signs, meanings and stories. This study aims to describe the way and the expression of the wimba on the painting of the decorative cemetery Mistaram and to know the meaning of Mistaram painting when differentiated using the theory of language. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a painting data source at the last solo exhibition of Mistaram in 2001 that incorporated two streams namely cubist and decorative. The researchers took four Mistaram works that have a decorative cubic style. From the data will be analyzed according to the formulation of the problem and the purpose of the study used the reference of conclusion. The results of this study indicate that in each work Mistaram there are elements of the composition of fields and lines in his work. The decorative cubist style decorates the whole painting, the way the wimba and the inner layout of the Mystaram painting depicts space and time and some gives the impression of flats, the wimbs made in the field of two-dimensional drawings. In the four works of Mystaram above each - each has the meaning of advice about the balance of a world life as well as the hereafter as a human being.
