Abstract

Arsitektur rumah tradisional Kudus salah satu warisan arsitektur nusantara yang hingga sekarang masih dipertahankan bentuk dan esensinya pada rumah tradisional Joglo Pencu. Pada perkembangan arsitektur masa kini pengaruh moderenisasi dan globalisasi merubah kebudayaan masyarakat sehingga arstektur rumah tradisional Kudus hampir kehilangan bentuk utuh bangunan aslinya. Sebagian hilang dijual karena masalah hak waris atau perawatan rumah yang terhitung mahal. Ada juga yang berubah dari segi keaslian material kayu jati yang sebagian diganti material batu bata. Oleh karenanya sangat menarik sekali bentuk dan esensi dari rumah adat Joglo Pencu untuk terus dipertahankan sebagai warisan arsitektur nusantara. Menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif yang berupaya menjelaskan secara rinci dan detail mengenai objek beserta permasalahan yang mengiringinya secara apa adanya dan secara spesifik. Objek pengamatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pembentuk tatanan ruang saja, yaitu unsur ke-simetri-an bangunan yang mengkonstitusikan seluruh konfigurasi ruang bangunan. Dari Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa Rumah tradisional kudus Joglo Pencu memiliki simetri bilateral, simetri pencerminan atau rotasi dan simetri translasi juga.

English Abstract

Architecture of traditional house Kudus one of the archipelago architectural heritage that until now still maintained the form and essence of traditional house Joglo Pencu. In the development of contemporary architecture the influence of modernization and globalization changed the culture of society so that the architect of the traditional house Kudus almost lost the original form of the original building. Some are lost for sale due to inheritance rights issues or expensive home care. There is also a change in terms of authenticity of teak wood material that is partially replaced by brick material. Therefore very interesting form and essence of traditional house Joglo Pencu to continue to be maintained as a legacy of archipelago architecture. Using descriptive research methods that attempt to explain in detail and detail about the object and the problems that accompany it as it is and specifically. The object of observation in this research is the forming of the spatial structure only, that is the element of the symmetry of the building constituting the entire configuration of the building space. From the results of this study it was found that the traditional Joglo Pencu traditional house has bilateral symmetry, reflection symmetry or rotation and translational symmetry as well.
