Abstract
Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mengungkap makna pengelolaan penghasilan nelayan berlandaskan nilai filosofi lopi sandeq. Fenomenologi merupakan metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, dengan nelayan tangkap tradisional Mandar sebagai informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai filosofi lopi sandeq, turut mempengaruhi para informan dalam pengelolaan penghasilannya. Nilai spiritual pada filosofi lopi sandeq tercermin pada sikap qana’ah yang ada pada diri informan. Sikap tersebut tercermin dari sikap rela menerima dan selalu merasa cukup atas hasil yang diusahakannya. Sikap qana’ah membuat para informan memiliki pendirian bahwa penghasilan yang tidak menentu dan kondisi panceklik yang dialami dimaknai sebagai rezeki dan kehendak Allah SWT. Nilai kebersamaan pada filosofi lopi sandeq terwujud dalam bentuk kerja sama dan rasa saling percaya antara informan dan istri dalam mengelola penghasilan dan transparasi keuangan melalui komunikasi lisan, sebagai pengganti pencatatan keuangan yang tidak dilakukan informan. Pengelolaan penghasilan nelayan dimaknai sebagai pemisahan antara pemenuhan kebutuhan sehari-hari dan keuangan pribadi melalui kegiatan menabung dan investasi. Pemisahan tersebut diwujudkan dengan penganggaran pengeluaran, dengan membuat pos-pos pengeluaran yang mengutamakan kebutuhan paling dasar lalu kebutuhan jangka panjang serta menghindari utang. Pengelolaan penghasilan tersebut mencerminkan nilai kesederhanaan pada filosofi lopi sandeq
English Abstract
This research was aimed to reveal the meaning of managing fishermen income based on the philosophical values of lopi sandeq. Phenomenology was the method used in this research, with traditional Mandar fishermen as informants. The results showed that the philosophical values of lopi sandeq also influenced the informants in managing their income. The spiritual values in the philosophy of lopi sandeq were reflected on informants‟ qana'ah attitude. This attitude was reflected on the willingness to accept and feel sufficient for the results of their efforts. Qana'ah attitude made the informants had the standpoint that the uncertain income and the conditions of famine experienced were interpreted as sustenance and the will of Allah SWT. The value of togetherness in the philosophy of lopi sandeq was manifested in the form of cooperation and mutual trust between the informants and their wives in managing the income and financial transparency through verbal communication, as a substitute for financial records that were not carried out by the informants. The management of fishermen income was interpreted as a separation between meeting daily needs and personal finances through savings and investment activities. This separation was realized by budgeting expenses, creating expenditure items that prioritized the most basic needs then long-term needs and avoiding debt. This management income reflected the value of simplicity in the lopi sandeq philosophy.
