Abstract
Ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) merupakan satu komoditas air tawar yang digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hewani dan juga memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi. Penelitian ini berfokus kepada analisis kadar eritrosit sebagai indikator kesehatan ikan nila yang dibudidayakan dalam dua sistem yaitu bioflok dan non bioflok. Sistem bioflok adalah salah satu inovasi dalam bidang akuakultur yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas air, pertumbuhan, reproduksi dan kesehatan ikan nila serta menurunkan jumlah konsumsi pakan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober-November 2024 di Khawi Fish Farm dan Laboratorium Sumberpasir Universitas Brawijaya dan Laboratorium Budidaya Ikan Divisi Penyakit dan Kesehatan Ikan, FPIK, Universitas Brawijaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif dengan rancangan Stratified Random Sampling, dimana populasi dibagi berdasarkan umur 3, 4 dan 5 bulan serta sampel diambil secara acak. Parameter utama yang diuji adalah kadar eritrosit dan parameter penunjang adalah kualitas air, morfometrik dan meristik ikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa kadar eritrosit ikan nila umur 3 bulan pada sistem bioflok memiliki rata-rata 2.91 x 106 sel/mm3 dan pada sistem non bioflok rata-rata 2.61 x 106 sel/mm3 keduanya memiliki kadar eritrosit normal, dengan perbedaan tidak signifikan. Pada ikan nila umur 4 bulan sistem bioflok memiliki rata-rata 2.43 x 106 sel/mm3 dan sistem non bioflok rata-rata 1.56 x 106 sel/mm3 keduanya memiliki kadar eritrosit normal dan menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan. Pada umur 5 bulan sistem bioflok memiliki rata-rata 4.75 x 106 sel/mm3 yang termasuk memiliki kadar eritrosit diatas kategori normal dan sistem non bioflok 1.80 x 106 sel/mm3 memiliki kadar eritrosit normal, dengan perbedaan yang sangat signifikan. Pengukuran suhu air pada kolam bioflok yaitu 26,2-28,9°C, sedangkan non bioflok yaitu 29,1-31,2°C. Pengukuran Dissolved Oxygen (DO) pada kolam bioflok yaitu 5,11-7,11 ppm, sedangkan non bioflok yaitu 8,21-10,55 ppm. Pengukuran pH pada kolam bioflok yaitu 6-6,8 dan non bioflok yaitu 8,32- 9,04. Pengukuran volume flok pada kolam umur 3 bulan sebesar 6%, sedangkan pada kolam umur 4 dan 5 bulan sebesar 3%. Ikan nila kekar pada kolam bioflok memiliki panjang total yang lebih tinggi yaitu 18,96-23,26 cm, dibandingkan dengan non bioflok yaitu 18,11-18,98 cm. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sistem budidaya bioflok memberikan kondisi fisiologis yang lebih baik bagi pertumbuhan dan kesehatan ikan dibandingkan dengan sistem non bioflok, terutama pada umur tertentu.
English Abstract
Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is a freshwater commodity that is used to meet animal needs and also has high economic value. This study focuses on the analysis of erythrocyte levels as an indicator of the health of tilapia cultivated in two systems, namely biofloc and non-biofloc. The biofloc system is one of the innovations in the field of aquaculture that can improve water quality, growth, reproduction and health of tilapia and reduce the amount of feed consumption. This research was carried out in October-November 2024 at the Khawi Fish Farm and the Sumbersand Laboratory, Universitas Brawijaya and the Fish Cultivation Laboratory of the Division of Fish Disease and Health, FPIK, Universitas Brawijaya. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with a Stratified Random Sampling design, where the population is divided by age of 3, 4 and 5 months and samples are taken randomly. The main parameters tested were erotrocyte levels and supporting parameters were water quality, morphometrics and fish meristic. The results showed that the erythrocyte levels of 3-month-old tilapia in the biofloc system had an average of 2.91 x 106 cells/mm3 and in the non-biofloc system the average was 2.61 x 106 cells/mm3, both of which had normal erythrocyte levels, with insignificant differences. In 4-month-old tilapia, the biofloc system has an average of 2.43 x 106 cells/mm3 and the non-biofloc system has an average of 1.56 x 106 cells/mm3, both of which have normal erythrocyte levels and show significant differences. At 5 months of age, the biofloc system had an average of 4.75 x 106 cells/mm3 which included erythrocyte levels above the normal category and the non-biofloc system of 1.80 x 106 cells/mm3 had normal erythrocyte levels, with a very significant difference. The measurement of water temperature in biofloc ponds is 26.2-28.9°C, while non-biofloc is 29.1-31.2°C. The measurement of Dissolved Oxygen (DO) in biofloc ponds was 5.11-7.11 ppm, while non-biofloc was 8.21-10.55 ppm. The pH measurement in biofloc ponds was 6-6.8 and non-biofloc was 8.32-9.04. The measurement of floc volume in 3-monthold pools was 6%, while in 4- and 5-month-old pools it was 3%. The burly tilapia in the biofloc pond has a higher total length, which is 18.96-23.26 cm, compared to non-biofloc, which is 18.11-18.98 cm. This study concluded that biofloc cultivation systems provide better physiological conditions for fish growth and health compared to non-biofloc systems, especially at certain ages.
