Abstract
Cryptocurrency telah menjadi salah satu inovasi terkemuka di bidang teknologi keuangan, dengan tingkat adopsi yang meningkat, khususnya di kalangan anak muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis platform exchange cryptocurrency yang paling sesuai bagi mahasiswa Universitas Brawijaya dengan mempertimbangkan berbagai kriteria, seperti kemudahan penggunaan, keamanan, likuiditas, biaya transaksi, reputasi platform, dan dukungan pelanggan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sistem pendukung keputusan berbasis metode TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) dan SAW (Simple Additive Weighting), dengan bobot kriteria yang ditentukan melalui metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 113 mahasiswa aktif Universitas Brawijaya yang telah menggunakan platform exchange cryptocurrency. Proses analisis melibatkan tahapan pembobotan dengan metode AHP, normalisasi data, serta perhitungan solusi ideal menggunakan metode TOPSIS dan SAW. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa platform Indodax mendapatkan peringkat tertinggi berdasarkan analisis kedua metode, menjadikannya rekomendasi utama bagi pengguna pemula. Faktor kemudahan penggunaan dan biaya transaksi yang kompetitif menjadi alasan utama dominasi Indodax. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa metode yang digunakan dapat memberikan rekomendasi berbasis data yang objektif dan terstruktur. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengembangan platform exchange cryptocurrency dan membantu pengguna dalam membuat keputusan investasi yang lebih terinformasi.
English Abstract
Cryptocurrency has emerged as one of the leading innovations in financial technology, with increasing adoption rates, particularly among young people. This study aims to analyze the most suitable cryptocurrency exchange platform for Universitas Brawijaya students by considering various criteria, such as ease of use, security, liquidity, transaction fees, platform reputation, and customer support. The research employs a decision support system approach based on the TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) and SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) methods, with criteria weights determined using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Research data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 113 active Universitas Brawijaya students who had used cryptocurrency exchange platforms. The analysis process involved weighting using the AHP method, data normalization, and calculating the ideal solution using the TOPSIS and SAW methods. The results of the study indicate that the Indodax platform ranks the highest based on both methods of analysis, making it the top recommendation for novice users. The platform's ease of use and competitive transaction fees are the primary reasons for Indodax's dominance. The conclusion of this study is that the methods used can provide objective and structured data-driven recommendations. This research is expected to serve as a reference for the development of cryptocurrency exchange platforms and assist users in making more informed investment decisions.
