Abstract

Quarter life crisis merupakan fenomena psikologis yang sering dialami oleh individu dalam rentang usia dewasa awal termasuk mahasiswa, terutama mahasiswa rantau yang menghadapi berbagai tantangan tambahan. Fenomena ini dapat mempengaruhi kesejahteraan mental dan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menjalani tugas perkembangan. Salah satu faktor yang dapat membantu individu mengatasi quarter life crisis adalah efikasi diri, yaitu keyakinan individu terhadap kemampuan yang dimilikinya untuk menyelesaikan tugas dan pencapaian tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan efikasi diri dengan quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa rantau. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner General Self Efficacy Scale (GSE) untuk mengukur efikasi diri dan kuesioner Quarter Life Crisis (QLC) untuk mengukur quarter life crisis. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan rumus slovin dan didapatkan jumlah sampel 102 responden. Uji hubungan dua variabel menggunakan Uji Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 52% responden memiliki efikasi diri dengan kategori tinggi dan 78,4% responden dengan quarter life crisis kategori sedang. Hasil uji korelasi Spearman Rank menunjukkan ρ-Value 0,003 dengan koefisien korelasi 0,295. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara efikasi diri dengan quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa rantau Program Studi Ilmu Keperawatan Universitas Brawijaya. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami dinamika quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa rantau dan pentingnya efikasi diri dalam mengatasi tantangan ini.

English Abstract

Quarter life crisis is a psychological phenomenon that is often experienced by individuals in the early adult age range including university students, especially overseas students who face various additional challenges. This phenomenon can affect mental well-being and the ability of students to undergo developmental tasks. One of the factors that can help individuals overcome quarter life crisis is self-efficacy, which is an individual's belief in their ability to complete tasks and achieve goals. This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-efficacy and quarter life crisis in overseas students. This study uses quantitative methods with a cross sectional design. The instruments used were the General Self Efficacy Scale (GSE) questionnaire to measure self-efficacy and the Quarter Life Crisis (QLC) questionnaire to measure quarter life crisis. The research sampling used purposive sampling technique with the slovin formula and obtained a sample size of 102 respondents. Test the relationship between two variables using the Spearman Rank Test. The results showed that 52% of respondents had efficacy in the quarter life crisis. The results showed that 52% of respondents had high selfefficacy and 78.4% of respondents had moderate quarter life crisis. The results of the Spearman Rank correlation test showed a ρ-Value of 0.003 with a correlation coefficient of 0.295. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and quarter life crisis in Overseas Students of Nursing Science Study Program, Brawijaya University. The results of the study are expected to contribute to understanding the dynamics of quarter life crisis in overseas students and the importance of self-efficacy in overcoming these challenges.
