Abstract
Tidur merupakan salah satu kebutuhan dasar yang harus dipenuhi. Lanjut usia mengalami penurunan fungsi tubuh dan perubahan fisik. Kondisi ini dapat mempengaruhi kemandirian dan status kesehatan lansia . Gangguan tidur merupakan masalah penting yang harus diatasi. Pemenuhan kebutuhan tidur yang tidak sesuai dapat menyebabkan rendahnya kualitas tidur yang dimiliki lansia yang nantinya dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup dari lansia tersebut. Sleep hygiene penting untuk membantu lansia mendapatkan tidur yang berkualitas dengan cara menerapkan sleep hygiene secara rutin. Studi ini ditujukan untuk mendeskripsikan secara detail pentingnya asuhan keperawatan dalam meningkatkan kualitas tidur pada lansia. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif melalui asuhan keperawatan sistematis. Hasil kajian ini membuktikan bahwa terapi sleep hygiene dapat meningkatkan kualitas tidur pada lansia dengan pemantauan dan tindakan secara rutin
English Abstract
Sleep is one of the basic needs that must be ensured. Elderly people experience reduced bodily functions and physical changes. This condition can affect the independence and health status of the elderly. Sleep disorders are an important issue that requires attention. Inadequate fulfillment of sleep needs can lead to low quality of sleep that the elderly have, which in turn can affect the quality of life of the elderly. Sleep hygiene is important to help the elderly get quality sleep by applying sleep hygiene regularly. This study aims to describe in detail the importance of applying sleep hygiene in improving sleep quality in the elderly. This research method uses the nursing care. The results of this study prove that sleep hygiene therapy can improve sleep quality in the elderly with regular monitoring and action.
