Abstract

Pengembangan sistem informasi yang inovatif menjadi kebutuhan penting untuk memenuhi tuntutan masyarakat modern, termasuk di Universitas Brawijaya (UB). Proyek Robot BRONE (Brawijaya Number One) berbasis website dirancang untuk mengatasi keterbatasan akses informasi terkini tentang robot BRONE dan inovasi terkait, yang selama ini menghambat mahasiswa, dosen, dan staf dalam mendukung kegiatan akademik maupun non-akademik.Pengembangan sistem didasarkan oleh metode SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) Model Waterfall. Pada Tahapan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Dalam analisis kebutuhan, diidentifikasi dua aktor utama, yaitu pengguna dan admin, dengan 11 aktivitas yang digambarkan melalui use case diagram. Perancangan sistem dilakukan menggunakan UML, mencakup diagram aktivitas, diagram urutan, dan class diagram dengan 11 controller dan 10 model. Sistem ini juga didukung oleh database dengan 9 tabel yang dirancang menggunakan MySQL DBMS, serta antarmuka berbasis wireframe. Implementasi memanfaatkan framework Laravel untuk menghasilkan 59 view antarmuka sistem. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode Black Box Testing dengan 10 skenario yang memperoleh hasil 100% diterima, serta pengujian kompatibilitas melalui perangkat lunak SortSite pada berbagai browser. Selain itu, User Acceptance Test (UAT) menghasilkan skor 92%, dengan kategori "Sangat Setuju" Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan website Robot BRONE berhasil menyediakan akses informasi yang mudah, akurat, dan interaktif bagi pengguna UB. Dengan adanya maskot BRONE sebagai pemandu informasi, website ini tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi akses informasi tetapi juga memberikan pengalaman pengguna yang menarik. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis dalam pengelolaan informasi di UB dan kontribusi teoritis dalam pengembangan sistem informasi serta interaksi manusia-robot.

English Abstract

The web-based BRONE (Brawijaya Number One) Robot Project is designed to overcome limited access to information about BRONE robots, which has hampered students, lecturers, and staff in supporting academic and nonacademic activities. System development uses the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method with the Waterfall model, through the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The needs analysis stage identified two main actors, namely users and admins, with 10 activities described through use case diagrams. System design is done using UML, including activity diagrams, physical data models, and class diagrams with 11 controllers and 10 models. The system is supported by a database with 9 tables designed using MySQL, as well as a wireframe-based interface. Implementation utilizes the Laravel framework to produce 59 views of the system interface. Testing using the Black Box Testing method with 10 scenarios showed 100% acceptance, as well as compatibility testing through SortSite software that showed no error indicators on various browsers. In addition, the User Acceptance Test (UAT) resulted in a score of 92%, with the category “Strongly Agree”. The results showed that the BRONE Robot web development successfully provided easy, accurate, and interactive access to information, and increased user efficiency through the BRONE mascot as an information guide. This research contributes to information management at UB and the development of human-robot interaction information systems.
