Abstract

Perawat merupakan tenaga kesehatan yang memiliki peran vital dalam memberikan layanan kesehatan yang berkualitas. Kualitas layanan yang diberikan oleh perawat sangat bergantung pada berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah kompetensi profesional perawat yang mencakup keterampilan teknis, pengetahuan medis, serta tingkat pendidikan dan pelatihan yang dimiliki. Namun, selain aspek teknis, perilaku caring atau kepedulian menjadi elemen penting yang mempengaruhi kualitas interaksi antara perawat dan pasien. Kualitas caring perawat di Indonesia dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor utama yaitu tingkat pendidikan dan pelatihan, kondisi lingkungan kerja, serta ketersediaan sumber daya medis dan salah satunya adalah beban kerja. Bagaimana hubungan beban kerja dengan perilaku caring di RS Panti Nirmala perlu dilakukan studi lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada perawat di Ruang Rawat Inap RS Panti Nirmala dengan metode observasional-pendekatan cross sectional. Beban perawat di ukur menggunakan kuesioner NASA-TLX dan perilaku caring perawat diukur dengan menggunakan teori Swanson yang telah di adaptasi oleh Kusnanto dengan 3 dimensi pengukuran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sebagian besar beban kerja perawat dalam kategori beban kerja tinggi. Sedangkan pada perilaku caring, sebagian besar ditemukan hasil tingkat kepedulian caring baik. Tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara beban kerja dengan perilaku caring perawat (p-value=0,435). Namun pada indikator performansi beban kerja, ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan dengan dimensi maintaining belief pada perilaku caring perawat (p-value= 0.015). Data ini dapat menjadi dasar terkait pengembangan SDM perawat di RS Panti Nirmala.

English Abstract

Nurses comprise the largest component of the healthcare workforce, are the primary providers of hospital patient care, and deliver most of the nation's long-term care. The quality of service is highly dependent on various factors, one of which is the professional competence of nurses, namely technical skills, medical knowledge, and the level of education and training they have. However, in addition to these aspects, caring behavior or concern is an important element that influences the quality of interaction between nurses and patients. The quality of nurse caring in Indonesia is influenced by several main factors, namely the level of education and training, work environment conditions, and the availability of medical resources and most importantly the workload. How the relationship between workload and nurse caring behavior at Panti Nirmala Hospital needs further study. This study was conducted on nurses in the Inpatient Room of RS Panti Nirmala using an observational method-cross sectional approach. The nurse's workload was measured using the NASA-TLX questionnaire and the nurse's caring behavior was measured using the Swanson theory which has been adapted by Kusnanto with 3 dimensions of measurement. The results of this study indicated that most of the nurse's workload was in the high workload category. While in caring behavior, most of the caring results were found “good category”. There was no significant relationship between workload and nurses' caring behavior (p-value = 0.435). However, in the workload performance indicator, a significant relationship was found with the maintaining belief dimension on nurses' caring behavior (p-value = 0.015). This data can be the basis for the development of nurse human resources at RS Panti Nirmala.
