Abstract

Penggunaan obat antihipertensi seperti obat golongan Calcium ChanneI BIocker (CCB) dan Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACEl) merupakan langkah tercepat dalam menurunkan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi. Di samping tugas obat antihipertensi dalam menurunkan tekanan darah, obat tersebut dapat pula menyebabkan efek samping seperti konstipasi, batuk kering, dan BAK tiap malam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan efek samping antara penggunaan obat golongan CCB dan ACEI pada penderita hipertensi di Puskesmas Mulyorejo Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian observasional dan metode cross-sectional dengan membagikan kuesioner pada seIuruh penderita hipertensi di Puskesmas Mulyorejo. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 82 orang terdiri atas 66 pengguna CCB dan 16 pengguna ACEl. HasiI penelitian ini di dapatkan, secara mayoritas pengguna CCB sebanyak 15 orang (22,7%) mengaIami konstipasi, 17 orang (25,8%) mengalami batuk kering, dan 28 orang (42,4%) mengalami BAK tiap malam selama penggunaan obat. Sedangkan, mayoritas pengguna ACEl sebanyak 12 orang (75%) mengaIami konstipasi, 10 orang (62,6%) mengalami batuk kering, dan 6 orang (37,5%) mengalami BAK tiap malam selama penggunaan obat. HasiI uji statistik komparasi dengan Mann Whitney untuk efek samping konstipasi didapatkan nilai kemaknaan Sig. 0,000 < 0,050 bermakna terdapat perbedaan efek samping konstipasi, untuk efek samping batuk kering didapatkan nilai kemaknaan Sig. 0,002 < 0,050 bermakna terdapat perbedaan efek samping batuk kering, dan untuk efek samping BAK tiap malam didapatkan nilai kemaknaan Sig. 0,368 > 0,050 bermakna tidak terdapat perbedaan efek samping BAK tiap malam antara pengguna CCB dan ACEl.

English Abstract

Antihypertensive medications such as Calcium Channel Blockers (CCB) and Angiotensin Converting Enzyme Inhibitors (ACEI) are the fastest way to lower blood pressure in patients with hypertension. In addition to the role of antihypertensive drugs in reducing blood pressure, these medications can also cause side effects such as constipation, dry cough, and nocturia. This study aims to determine the differences in side effects between the use of CCB and ACEI in hypertensive patients at the Mulyorejo Health Center in Malang City. This research employs an observational study design and a cross-sectional method by distributing questionnaires to all hypertensive patients at the Mulyorejo Health Center. The results of this study show that, among CCB users, 51 individuals (77.3%) did not experience constipation, 49 individuals (74.2%) did not experience a dry cough, and 38 individuals (57.6%) did not experience nocturia during medication use. Meanwhile, among ACEI users, 8 individuals (50%) occasionally experienced constipation, 6 individuals (37.5%) did not experience a dry cough, and 10 individuals (62.5%) did not experience nocturia during medication use. The total number of respondents in this study was 82, consisting of 66 CCB users and 16 ACEI users. The results of the comparative statistical test using Mann Whitney for the side effect of constipation showed a significance value of Sig. 0.000 < 0.050, indicating a difference in the frequency of constipation side effects. For the side effect of dry cough, the significance value was Sig. 0.002 < 0.050, indicating a difference in the frequency of dry cough side effects. For the side effect of nocturia, the significance value was Sig. 0.368 > 0.050, indicating no difference in the frequency of nocturia side effects between CCB and ACEI users.
