Abstract
Cedera kepala adalah trauma mekanik yang dapat terjadi baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung, yang menyebabkan gangguan fungsi neurologis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan prehospital care dengan length of stay (LOS) pasien cedera kepala di instalasi gawat darurat (IGD) rumah sakit umum daerah (RSUD) Bangil. Teknik sampling penelitian ini menggunakan accidental sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 17 pasien cedera kepala. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian ini mayoritas pasien cedera kepala tidak mendapatan prehospital care sebesar 76,5%, mayoritas length of stay pasien cedera kepala ≥ 8 jam sebesar 58,8 %. Analisis statistik didapatkan p value sebesar 0,006 < (0,05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara prehospital care dengan length of stay (LOS) pasien cedera kepala di instalasi gawat darurat (IGD) rumah sakit umum daerah (RSUD) Bangil.
English Abstract
Head injury is a mechanical trauma that can occur either directly or indirectly, which causes neurological dysfunction. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between prehospital care and length of stay (LOS) of head injury patients in the emergency department (IGD) of Bangil Regional General Hospital (RSUD). The sampling technique of this study used accidental sampling with a sample size of 17 head injury patients. Data collection using observation sheets was then analyzed using the chi square test. The results of this study showed that the majority of head injury patients did not receive prehospital care, 76.5%, and the majority of head injury patients' length of stay was ≥ 8 hours, 58.8%. Statistical analysis obtained a p value of 0.006 < (0.05). The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between prehospital care and length of stay (LOS) of head injury patients in the emergency department (IGD) of Bangil Regional General Hospital (RSUD).
