Abstract
Berat Badan Lahir Rendah (BBLR) adalah bayi yang baru lahir dengan berat badan <2500 gram. Kasus BBLR di Kabupaten Tuban juga masih tergolong tinggi, yaitu sebanyak 742 bayi (5,1%) dari total kelahiran 14.482 bayi pada tahun 2023. Bayi dengan BBLR akan mengalami masalah dalam kelangsungan hidup, kesehatan, pertumbuhan dan perkembangan. Beberapa penyebab utama terjadinya BBLR adalah kondisi status sosial ekonomi ibu dan juga pernikahan usia remaja. Tujuan studi Mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan status sosial ekonomi dan pernikahan usia remaja dengan angka kejadian bblr di kabupaten tuban. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juli hingga November di dua rumah sakit di Kabupaten Tuban, yaitu RSUD Tuban dan RSNU Tuban. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional study, pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 42 responden. Analisa data menggunakan uji statistik spearman bahwa terdapat hubungan (p-value = 0,000 <0,01) status sosial ekonomi dan pernikahan usia remaja dengan angka kejadian BBLR di Kabupaten Tuban. Saran yang penulis ajukan bagi rumah sakitpenyuluhan terkait kesiapan ibu secara sosial ekonomi maupun usia kehamilan untuk meminimalisir terjadinya BBLR. Tenaga kesehatan setempat juga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu-ibu dalam persiapan kehamilan, terutama gizi yang cukup bagi ibu dan janin.
English Abstract
Low birth weight (LBW) is a newborn baby that weighs <2500 grams. The case of LBW in Tuban Regency is still relatively high, with 742 babies (5.1%) out of a total of 14,482 babies born in 2023. LBW babies will experience problems in survival, health, growth and development. Some of the main causes of LBW are the socioeconomic status of the mother and also teenage marriage. The aim of the study was to determine whether or not there is a relationship between socioeconomic status and teenage marriage with the incidence of LBW in Tuban district. This study was conducted from July to November in two hospitals in Tuban Regency, namely RSUD Tuban and RSNU Tuban. This type of research used cross sectional study design, sampling using purposive sampling with a total sample of 42 respondents. Data analysis using Spearman statistical test showed that there was a relationship (p-value = 0.000 <0.01) between socioeconomic status and teenage marriage with the incidence of LBW in Tuban Regency. Suggestions that the authors propose for hospitals are counselling related to the readiness of mothers in terms of socioeconomic status and gestational age to minimise the occurrence of LBW. Local health workers are also expected to increase the knowledge of mothers in pregnancy preparation, especially adequate nutrition for the mother and fetus..
