Abstract
Penerapan konsep Green Building di Kota Kediri menjadi semakin mendesak seiring dengan meningkatnya jumlah pembangunan gedung, dipicu oleh pembangunan bandara baru serta regulasi dari Kementerian PUPR yang mewajibkan penerapan Green Building untuk memperoleh izin pendirian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi adopsi Green Building dan mendorong transformasi menuju pembangunan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan mengambil populasi gedung di Kota Kediri, Jawa Timur, sebagai fokusnya. Sebanyak 111 gedung dijadikan sampel penelitian, dan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada pengelola atau pihak yang memahami gedung tersebut. Penelitian ini menggabungkan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) dengan model Adopsi, dan analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik Smart PLS-SEM. Keunikan penelitian ini terletak pada pendekatan mendalam dalam mengukur adopsi Green Building, menggunakan parameter spesifik yang terukur, sehingga memungkinkan evaluasi yang lebih akurat dan berbasis data mengenai efektivitas serta tingkat penerimaan Green Building di Kota Kediri. Penelitian mengenai penerapan green building di Kediri, Jawa Timur, menunjukkan dukungan signifikan, namun implementasinya masih perlu perbaikan. Berdasarkan survei terhadap 111 responden, analisis SWOT mengungkapkan faktor internal seperti persepsi positif terhadap green building, dukungan regulasi, dan adopsi teknologi ramah lingkungan memperoleh skor tinggi (4.874). Sebaliknya, faktor eksternal seperti keterbatasan anggaran dan kurangnya pemahaman tentang teknologi hijau memiliki skor rendah (2.614), yang memerlukan perhatian lebih. Penerapan prinsip green building di Kediri baru mencapai 24%, jauh dari standar Bronze (35%) pada penilaian GREENSHIP Homes. Kriteria yang perlu diperbaiki meliputi efisiensi energi, konservasi air, dan kesejahteraan penghuni, yang saat ini mendapatkan nilai 0%. Penelitian ini menunjukkan perlunya kebijakan yang lebih mendukung serta peningkatan pemahaman dan pelatihan mengenai teknologi hijau untuk mempercepat implementasi green building di Kediri.
English Abstract
The implementation of the Green Building concept in Kediri City has become increasingly urgent due to the rising number of building constructions driven by the new airport development and regulations from the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR), which mandate Green Building compliance for obtaining construction permits. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing Green Building adoption and to promote the transformation towards sustainable development. This study employs a quantitative approach, focusing on the building population in Kediri City, East Java. A total of 111 buildings were sampled, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to building managers or individuals knowledgeable about these buildings. The study combines the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with the Adoption model, and data analysis is conducted using the Smart PLS-SEM technique. The uniqueness of this research lies in its in-depth approach to measuring Green Building adoption, utilizing specific and measurable parameters, which allows for a more accurate and datadriven evaluation of the effectiveness and acceptance of Green Building in Kediri. The study on the implementation of green building in Kediri, East Java, shows significant support for the concept, but its implementation still requires improvement. Based on a survey of 111 respondents, the SWOT analysis reveals that internal factors, such as positive perceptions of green buildings, regulatory support, and the adoption of environmentally friendly technologies, scored high (4.874). However, external factors, such as limited budgets and a lack of understanding of green technologies, scored low (2.614), indicating the need for more attention. The application of green building principles in Kediri currently reaches only 24%, well below the Bronze standard (35%) in the GREENSHIP Homes rating. Areas needing improvement include energy efficiency, water conservation, and occupant well-being, which currently score 0%. This study highlights the need for more supportive policies, as well as enhanced understanding and training in green technologies, to accelerate the implementation of green buildings in Kediri
