Abstract
PT. XYZ adalah perusahaan distributor alat berat di Indonesia yang juga menyediakan layanan service untuk memastikan alat berat berfungsi dengan aman. Tim Service Marketing and Business Control (SMBC) bertugas memantau aktivitas bisnis di tiap cabang agar sesuai dengan KPI dan kebutuhan perusahaan. Namun, sistem monitoring yang terbatas pada Microsoft Excel dengan data tersebar di berbagai file menyebabkan ketidakefisiensian dalam analisis dan pengambilan keputusan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan dashboard digital guna mendukung kebutuhan monitoring di PT. XYZ. Pengembangan dilakukan menggunakan metode Kimball Business Intelligence Lifecycle, yang mencakup perancangan data warehouse berbasis kebutuhan bisnis, integrasi data melalui proses ETL menggunakan Talend Open Studio, dan pengembangan dashboard interaktif di Power BI Desktop. Dashboard yang dihasilkan terdiri dari tiga halaman utama, yaitu dashboard general, business control parts, dan business control vendor, yang optimal dalam membantu pengawasan dan kontrol bisnis di tiap cabang. Evaluasi usability dashboard dilakukan oleh lima stakeholder menggunakan Dashboard Assessment Usability Model (DATUS). Berdasarkan hasil pengujian terhadap seluruh dimensi, dashboard memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 94 dari 100, menunjukkan tingkat usability yang sangat baik. Dengan skor mendekati maksimum, dashboard ini dinilai optimal untuk mendukung analisis, monitoring, dan pengambilan keputusan di PT. XYZ.
English Abstract
PT. XYZ is a heavy equipment distributor company in Indonesia that also provides service solutions to ensure the equipment operates safely. The Service Marketing and Business Control (SMBC) team is responsible for monitoring business activities at each branch to ensure alignment with the company's KPIs and business needs. However, the monitoring system, which relies solely on Microsoft Excel with data scattered across various files, leads to inefficiencies in analysis and decisionmaking. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a digital dashboard to support monitoring needs at PT. XYZ. The development was carried out using the Kimball Business Intelligence Lifecycle method, which includes designing a data warehouse based on business requirements, integrating data through ETL processes using Talend Open Studio, and creating interactive dashboards using Power BI Desktop. The resulting dashboard consists of three main pages: general dashboard, business control parts, and business control vendor, which effectively support supervision and business control across branches. The dashboard’s usability was evaluated by five stakeholders using the Dashboard Assessment Usability Model (DATUS). Based on the evaluation results across all dimensions, the dashboard achieved an average score of 94 out of 100, indicating a very high level of usability. With a score close to the maximum, the dashboard is deemed optimal for supporting analysis, monitoring, and decision-making at PT. XYZ.
