Abstract

Gagal ginjal merupakan kondisi kelainan struktur atau fungsi ginjal yang lebih dari 3 bulan. Penatalaksanaan pasien gagal ginjal kronis dilakukan terapi hemodialisis, peran keluarga sangat penting dan diperlukan. Beban keluarga saat merawat pasien sangat berisiko keluarga mengalami distres psikologis. Distres psikologis dipengaruhi oleh faktor spiritualitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara spiritualitas dengan distres psikologis keluarga dalam merawat pasien gagal ginjal kronis usia produktif yang menjalani hemodialisis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni deskriptif korelasional dan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Instrument yang digunakan berupa kuesioner Spirituality Transendence Scale (STS) dan Kessler 10 (K10) yang dibagikan kepada 201 responden yang menjadi sampel. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik non-probability sampling dengan pendekatan purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi Spearman Rank, diperoleh p-value sebesar 0,003 dengan koefisien korelasi -0,210. Penelitian ini melibatkan 201 responden yang memiliki tingkat spiritualitas tinggi, dan 138 responden yang mengalami distres psikologis ringan. Dari temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara spiritualitas dan distres psikologis dalam merawat pasien gagal ginjal kronis pada usia produktif yang menjalani hemodialisis. Semakin tinggi tingkat spiritualitas keluarga, semakin ringan tingkat distres psikologis yang dialami. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mendorong keluarga untuk mempertahankan tingkat spiritualitas mereka guna mencegah terjadinya distres psikologis

English Abstract

Chronic Kidney Disease is a condition where the structure or function of the kidneys are abnormal for more than 3 months. Management of patients with chronic kidney disease using hemodialysis therapy, the role of the family is very important and necessary. The family's burden when caring for patients is very risky for the family to experience psychological distress. Psychological distress is influenced by spirituality factors. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between spirituality and family psychological distress in caring for chronic kidney disease patients of productive age undergoing hemodialysis. The research method used is descriptive correlational and uses a cross sectional approach. The instruments used were the Spirituality Transcendence Scale (STS) and Kessler 10 (K10) questionnaires which were distributed to 201 sample respondents. The sampling technique used in this research is a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling approach. Based on the results of the Spearman Rank correlation test, a p-value of 0.003 was obtained with a correlation coefficient of -0.210. This research involved 144 respondents who had a high level of spirituality, and 138 respondents who experienced mild psychological distress. From these findings, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between spirituality and psychological distress in caring for chronic kidney disease patients of productive age who are undergoing hemodialysis. The higher the level of family spirituality, the lighter the level of psychological distress experienced. It is hoped that the results of this research can encourage families to maintain their level of spirituality to prevent psychological distress.
