Abstract
Pasien gagal jantung memiliki literasi kesehatan yang rendah. Literasi kesehatan yang rendah mempengaruhi dalam kemampuan pengambilan keputusan terkait dengan perawatan yang sesuai. Literasi kesehatan dapat ditingkatkan salah satunya dengan memberikan edukasi self-care. Pemberian edukasi self-care menggunakan aplikasi Cardiac Care adalah inovasi untuk meningkatkan literasi kesehatan pasien gagal jantung. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisa pengaruh edukasi self-care menggunakan aplikasi Cardiac Care terhadap literasi kesehatan pada pasien gagal jantung di RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. Metode penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian non-randomized control group pre-test and post-test. Jumlah responden pada penelitian ini yaitu 40 responden pada setiap kelompok. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan Heart Failure Specific Health Literacy Scale. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan perbedaan literasi kesehatan dengan pemberian edukasi menggunakan aplikasi Cardiac Care (p-value 0.000 <0.005) maupun leaflet (p value 0.024 <0.05). Hasil uji setelah diberikan edukasi menunjukkan adanya perbedaan literasi kesehatan setelah diberikan edukasi secara signifikan antara kelompok intervensi dan kontrol (p-value 0.000 <0.05). Edukasi menggunakan aplikasi Cardiac Care memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pengetahuan, sikap, dan pengambilan keputusan terkait dengan kesehatan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh edukasi self-care menggunakan aplikasi Cardiac Care terhadap literasi kesehatan pada pasien gagal jantung di RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. Aplikasi Cardiac Care diharapkan dapat dijadikan edukasi self-care pada pasien gagal jantung untuk meningkatkan self-care dan menurunkan readmission.
English Abstract
Heart failure patients have low health literacy. Low health literacy affects the ability to make decisions related to appropriate care. Health literacy can be improved by providing self-care education. Providing self-care education using the Cardiac Care application is an innovation to improve the health literacy of heart failure patients. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of self-care education using the Cardiac Care application on health literacy in heart failure patients at RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. This research method is using quasi experiment with non-randomized control group pre-test and post-test research design. The number of respondents in this study was 40 respondents in each group. The research instrument used Heart Failure Specific Health Literacy Scale. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed differences in health literacy by providing education using the Cardiac Care application (p-value 0.000 <0.005) and leaflets (p value 0.024 <0.05). The test results after being given education showed a significant difference in health literacy after being given education between the intervention and control groups (p-value 0.000 <0.05). ). Education using the Cardiac Care application has a significant influence on knowledge, attitudes, and decision making related to health. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of self-care education using the Cardiac Care application on health literacy in heart failure patients at RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. The Cardiac Care application is expected to be used as self-care education for heart failure patients to improve self-care and reduce readmission.
