Husmadhilah, Razita and Prof. Dr. Ahsan, S.Kp., M.Kes (2024) Hubungan Beban Kerja dengan Sikap Perawat dalam Melaporkan Insiden Keselamatan Pasien di Unit Hemodialisa Rumah Sakit Lavalette Kota Malang. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
Nurses who have a positive attitude in incident reporting have successfully internalized patient safety culture into their behavior. Negative attitudes of nurses can result in not maximizing incident reporting. The study aimed to analyze the relationship between workload and nurses' attitude in reporting incidents in the hemodialysis unit of Lavalette Hospital, Malang City. The method used was descriptive correlative with a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples in this study were all nurses in the hemodialysis unit. This study used the NASA-TLX instrument for the workload variable and IRCQ for the attitude variable of nurses in reporting incidents. Test the relationship between two variables using Spearman Rank. The results showed that nurses' workload was moderate (32.4%) and high (50%) and the majority of nurses had a negative attitude (67.6%). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between workload and nurses' attitude in reporting incidents with a p-value of 0.151 and a correlation coefficient of 0.252. Regular training, monitoring, and evaluation from hospital management on the culture of incident reporting in the hemodialysis unit at Lavalette Hospital Malang City are needed
