Abstract
Society of Renewable Energy Universitas Brawijaya (SRE UB) adalah organisasi yang dicetuskan oleh mahasiswa Universitas Brawijaya untuk meningkatkan kesadaran tentang energi terbarukan. SRE UB didirikan pada tahun 2020 oleh Reihan Subhan dan Farras Kurniawan, dan memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan perhatian mahasiswa terhadap pengembangan energi terbarukan di Indonesia. Namun, SRE UB menghadapi beberapa permasalahan, seperti kurangnya sistem pendataan, tidak adanya website profesional, dan rendahnya branding di kalangan publik, yang berdampak pada jumlah anggota baru. Dengan berkembangnya teknologi media massa, termasuk pengunaan perangkat mobile yang semakin meningkat, penulis merancang website untuk SRE UB dengan metode Mobile First Design. Metode ini bertujuan agar website lebih responsif ketika diakses di berbagai perangkat. Data didapatkan dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan kuisioner. Setelah melakukan perancangan, dilakukan penelitian menggunakan Usability Testing dan System Usability Scale (SUS). Dala pengujian tersebut, hasil skor SUS adalah 89,08 dalam skala SUS berarti “Good, Execellent”. Harapan selanjutnya, setelah melakukan perbaikian terhadap frontend, bisa diintegrasikan bersama backend untuk membuat sistem Website SRE UB.
English Abstract
Society of Renewable Energy Universitas Brawijaya (SRE UB) is an organization created by students of Universitas Brawijaya to raise awareness about renewable energy. SRE UB was founded in 2020 by Reihan Subhan and Farras Kurniawan, and aims to increase student attention to renewable energy development in Indonesia. However, SRE UB faced several problems, such as the lack of a data collection system, the absence of a professional website, and low branding among the public, which impacted the number of new members. With the development of mass media technology, including the increasing use of mobile devices, the author designed a website for SRE UB with the Mobile-First Design method. This method aims to make the website more responsive when accessed on various devices. Data was obtained by conducting observations, interviews, and questionnaires. After designing, research was conducted using Usability Testing and System Usability Scale (SUS). In the test, the SUS score result is 89.08 in SUS scale means “Good, Excellent”. The next goal after making improvements to the frontend, can be integrated with the backend to create the SRE UB Website system.
