Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi menimbulkan fenomena baru di masyarakat, salah satunya fenomena selebrasi di kalangan mahasiswa gen-z tingkat akhir. Fenomena tersebut adalah semprotulation, perayaan bagi mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang berhasil melewati salah satu tahapan penyusunan skripsi yaitu seminar proposal. Semprotulation menjadi fenomena sosial baru yang dapat memberikan dampak kepada mahasiswa. Penting untuk mengetahui dampak semprotulation terutama terhadap kesejahteraan mental mahasiswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan sikap dan perilaku terhadap fenomena semprotulation dengan tingkat self-esteem mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Penelitian dilakukan dengan desain deskriptif cross sectional. Sampel ditentukan dengan purposive sampling dan didapatkan sebanyak 399 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner berbentuk google form berisi pertanyaan tentang data demografi, kuesioner sikap dan perilaku dan Rosenberg’s Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) yang telah dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas dengan keseluruhan kuesioner memiliki r hitung > r tabel dan Cronbach’s alpha > 0,60. Mayoritas responden menunjukkan sikap baik dan perilaku positif terhadap semprotulation, sebanyak 308 responden (77.2%) memiliki sikap baik dan 374 responden (93.7% ) berperilaku positif. Tingkat self-esteem berada pada rentang normal pada 316 responden (79.2%) dengan rata-rata skor 19,18. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji spearman dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,05 dan confidence interval 95%. Hasil analisis hubungan menunjukkan hasil p-value <0,005 untuk kedua variabel. Sehingga terdapat hubungan antara sikap terhadap fenomena semprotulation dan perilaku terhadap fenomena semprotulation dengan tingkat self-esteem mahasiswa gen-z tingkat akhir
English Abstract
The celebration phenomenon among Gen-Z final-year students is one of the new social phenomena brought on by technological advancements. The celebration of final-year students who have successfully completed the proposal seminar, one of the stages of final project preparation, is known as semprotulation. Students may be impacted by the emerging of this societal phenomenon. Understanding the effects of semprotulation is crucial, particularly with regard to students' mental health. This study aims to examine the association between final-year students' self-esteem levels and their attitude and behaviors about the phenomena of semprotulation. A descriptive cross-sectional design was used for the study. Purposive sampling was used to determine the sample, and 399 respondents in total were gathered. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire in the form of a Google Form which contains questions about demographic data, attitude and behavior questionnaires, and the Rosenberg’s Self-Esteem Scale (RSES), validity and reliability tests have been conducted, with the entire questionnaire showing r count > r table and Cronbach’s alpha > 0.60. With 308 respondents (77.2%) displaying a favorable attitude and 374 respondents (93.7%) displaying positive behavior, the majority of respondents demonstrated both positive behavior and a positive attitude toward semprotulation. The self-esteem level is within the normal range for 316 respondents (79.2%) with an average score of 19.18. Data were analyzed using the Spearman test with a significance level of 0.05 and a 95% confidence interval. The results of the correlation analysis show a pvalue <0.005 for both variables. Thus, there is a relationship between attitudes towards the phenomenon of semprotulation and behaviors towards the phenomenon of semprotulation with the self-esteem
