Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk melihat determinan yang mempengaruhi keingingan pengguna untuk terus menggunakan SAP di PT BISI International Tbk. Beberapa pendekatan model seperti Expectation Confirmation Model (ECM), Theory Acceptance Model (TAM) dan Information System Success Model (IS Success Model) digunakan untuk mengetahui hal tersebut. Penelitian ini memiliki implikasi teori dalam mengembangkan konsep ECM, serta menjadi bahan evaluasi kepada PT BISI International Tbk dan pengembang SAP sebagai implikasi praktis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei dengan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada karyawan PT BISI International Tbk. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel jenuh (saturation sampling) dengan teknik non probabilitas. Analisis data dengan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa niat individu untuk terus menggunakan SAP di PT BISI International Tbk sebesar 70,8% dijelaskan oleh variabel sikap dan kepuasan pengguna. Sikap positif terhadap sistem informasi berperan penting dalam mendorong niat untuk terus menggunakan, sedangkan kepuasan tercipta ketika SAP memenuhi atau melampaui harapan pengguna. Variabel kepuasan pengguna dijelaskan 76,2% dari variabel laten eksogennya dan variabel sikap dijelaskan oleh variabel laten eksogen penyusunnya sebesar 65,9%. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan tingkat kepuasan pengguna tidak signifikan dipengaruhi oleh kualitas sistem, hal ini dapat disebabkan oleh lingkungan organisasi yang bersifat wajib, dimana penggunaan SAP merupakan suatu keharusan untuk digunakan. Selain variabel kualitas sistem seluruhnya berpengaruh kepada variabel laten endogen. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah niat untuk terus menggunakan sistem informasi dapat muncul dikarenakan dua hal yaitu kepuasan dan sikap pengguna.

English Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine factors influencing the willingness of SAP users at PT BISI International Tbk to keep using the application by incorporating Expectation Confirmation Model (ECM), Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), and Information System Success Model (IS Success Model). The theoretical implication of this study is the development of ECM concepts, while practically providing evaluation reference for both the company and the application developer. Using non-probability method and saturated sampling technique, all relevant employees of PT BISI International Tbk were involved as the respondents. The data was harvested via questionnaires and was analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). This study finds that 70.8% of the individuals’ intention in the company to keep using SAP is explained by user attitude and user satisfaction. In particular, the employees’ positive attitude to the information system significantly increases their intention to maintain the use of SAP, while their satisfaction grows when the application fulfil or go beyond their expectations. Further, 76.2% of the user satisfaction is explained by its exogenous latent variables, while 65.9% of the attitude is explained by its exogenous latent variables. These findings illustrate that user satisfaction level is not significantly determined by the system’s quality but by the organization’s environment, as the use of SAP is mandatory, and that the system’s quality is entirely influential for the endogenous latent variables. Therefore, this study concludes that employees’ intention to sustain the use of an information system may rise from two factors: user satisfaction and user attitude
