Abstract
Asma adalah penyakit yang ditandai dengan inflamasi kronik pada saluran pernapasan dengan manifestasi keluhan terkait pernafasan (mengi, sesak napas, dada terasa terikat dan batuk) dengan hambatan aliran udara ekspirasi. Metode terapi non-farmakologis yang dapat dilakukan pada pasien asma salah satunya yaitu dengan teknik olah napas. Teknik olah napas ini dapat berupa senam, olahraga, yoga, dan buteyko. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Menganalisis pengaruh pemberian teknik napas buteyko terhadap tingkat saturasi oksigen diruang IGD RSUD Bangil. Desain penelitian ini adalah eksperimental dengan model mini riset, melibatkan sepuluh responden yang dipilih secara consecutive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengukuran nilai saturasi oksigen sebelum dan sesudah pemberian teknik napas buteyko pada pasien asma bronkial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh teknik napas buteyko terhadap saturasi oksigen. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya teknik napas buteyko terhadap perbaikan saturasi oksigen pada pasien asma
English Abstract
Asthma is a disease characterized by chronic inflammation of the respiratory tract with manifestations of complaints related to breathing (wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness and coughing) with obstruction to expiratory air flow. One of the non-pharmacological therapy methods that can be used on asthma patients is breathing techniques. This breathing technique can take the form of gymnastics, sports, yoga and buteyko. This study aims to analyze the effect of administering the Buteyko breathing technique on oxygen saturation levels in the emergency room at Bangil Regional Hospital. The design of this research is experimental with a mini research model, involving ten respondents selected by consecutive sampling. Data was collected by measuring oxygen saturation values before and after administering the Buteyko breathing technique to patients with bronchial asthma. The results of the study showed that there was an influence of the Buteyko breathing technique on oxygen saturation. These findings show the importance of the Buteyko breathing technique in improving oxygen saturation in asthma patients
