Abstract

Kaki diabetik merupakan komplikasi dari diabetes melitus yang paling banyak dialami pasien. Komplikasi ini dapat merusak sistem integumen dan neurologi yang dapat mempengaruhi sirkulasi darah pada bagian perifer terutama pada kaki pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara komplikasi kaki diabetik dengan saturasi oksigen perifer (SpO2) pada kaki pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 di wilayah Kota Malang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Observational Design dengan jenis pendekatan Cross Sectional Design. Responden penelitian ini terdiri dari 150 orang penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 di Kota Malang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner kaki diabetik yaitu Neuropathy Symptom Score (NSS), Skala Wagner dan Pulse Oximetry. Uji korelasi dua variabel menggunakan uji Spearman dengan p-value 0,05. Hasil penelitian didapatkan tingkat keparahan berat kaki diabetik sebanyak 77 responden (51,3%) dengan dengan skor rata-rata 6,58 dan untuk saturasi oksigen perifer didapatkan hasil kategori normal sebanyak 110 responden (73,3%) dengan skor rata-rata 96,0. Hubungan antara komplikasi kaki diabetik dengan saturasi oksigen perifer (SpO2) pada kaki adalah sangat rendah dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,166 dan p-value 0,042 dengan arah hubungan positif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan antara komplikasi kaki diabetik dengan saturasi oksigen perifer (SpO2) pada kaki pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2. Dengan demikian dapat dilakukan pengukuran saturasi oksigen perifer dalam pemeriksaan kaki diabetik untuk mengetahui resiko komplikasi kaki diabetik

English Abstract

Diabetic foot is a complication of diabetes mellitus that is most commonly experienced by patients. This complication can damage the integumentary and neurological systems which can affect blood circulation in the peripheral parts, especially in the feet of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. This study aims to analyze the relationship between diabetic foot complications and peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2) in the feet of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Malang City. The research design used in this study was Observational Design with a Cross Sectional Design approach. The respondents of this study consisted of 150 people with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Malang City. The instruments used were diabetic foot questionnaires, namely the Neuropathy Symptom Score (NSS), Wagner Scale and Pulse Oximetry. The correlation test of two variables used the Spearman test with a p-value of 0.05. The results of the study showed that the severity of diabetic foot was 77 respondents (51.3%) with an average score of 6.58 and for peripheral oxygen saturation, the results were in the normal category of 110 respondents (73.3%) with an average score of 96.0. The relationship between diabetic foot complications and peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2) in the feet is very low with a correlation coefficient value of 0.166 and a p-value of 0.042 with a positive relationship direction. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between diabetic foot complications and peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2) in the feet of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Thus, peripheral oxygen saturation measurements can be carried out in diabetic foot examinations to determine the risk of diabetic foot complications
