Abstract
Trauma merupakan penyebab utama kematian global, dan penanganannya memerlukan penilaian keparahan cedera yang akurat untuk meningkatkan prognosis pasien trauma. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan mekanisme trauma dengan keparahan cedera menggunakan Trauma Injury Severity Score di IGD RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. Rancangan penelitian adalah obervasional analitik dengan pendekatan restrospektif. Responden penelitian ini terdiri dari 323 rekam medis pasien yang didiagnosis secara klinis mengalami trauma. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar pencatatan penelitian dan TRISS calculator. Uji hubungan dua variabel menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman dengan p-value 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pasien mayoritas mengalami mekanisme trauma berupa kecelakaan lalu lintas daripada jatuh, tertusuk, tertembak, tersayat, terjepit, kekerasan fisik, tertimpa, dan serangan binatang. Sedangkan mayoritas responden memiliki nilai TRISS di rentang 0,9-1,0. Hubungan antara mekanisme trauma dengan keparahan cedera menggunakan Trauma Injury Severity Score adalah lemah dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,135 dan p-value 0,015. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara mekanisme trauma dengan keparahan cedera menggunakan Trauma Injury Severity Score. Dengan demikian profesi perawat dalam melakukan pengkajian pasien trauma perlu dilakukan secara komprehensif. Selain itu, perawat perlu memahami tentang skoring trauma untuk menentukan keparahan cedera pasien trauma.
English Abstract
Trauma represents the leading cause of global mortality, and the management of such injuries necessitates an accurate assessment of injury severity to enhance the prognosis of trauma patients. The objective of this study is to examine the correlation between trauma mechanism and injury severity using the Trauma Injury Severity Score (TRISS) in the emergency department of Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital Malang. The research design was observational and analytic, employing a retrospective approach. The study respondents comprised 323 medical records of patients who had been clinically diagnosed with trauma. The research instruments utilized were a research recording sheet and a TRISS calculator. The relationship between two variables was tested using the Spearman correlation test with a p-value of 0.05. The results demonstrated that the majority of patients had sustained injuries as a result of traffic accidents, rather than due to falls, stabbing, shooting, slashing, pinching, physical violence, falling, or animal attacks. The majority of respondents exhibited TRISS scores within the range of 0.9 to 1.0. The relationship between trauma mechanism and injury severity, as measured by the Trauma Injury Severity Score, is weak, with a correlation coefficient of 0.111 and a p-value of 0.046. The results of the study indicate a correlation between trauma mechanism and injury severity as measured by the Trauma Injury Severity Score. This underscores the importance of a comprehensive approach to nursing care for trauma patients, including a thorough assessment of their injuries. Nurses must possess a solid understanding of trauma scoring to accurately determine the severity of injuries sustained by trauma patients.
