Abstract

Prevalensi GGK meningkat seiring berjalannya waktu dan membutuhkan HD seumur hidup untuk menunjang kehidupan. Peran keluarga dalam perawatan GGK sangat dibutuhkan dan bersifat kompleks. Hal tersebut memicu adanya beban perawatan yang berakibat pada gejala distres psikologis. Prasyarat koping efektif untuk menurunkan distres psikologis yang memengaruhi performa keluarga dalam merawat adalah efikasi diri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan efikasi diri dan distres psikologis keluarga dalam merawat pasien GGK usia produktif yang HD. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional serta menggunakan instrumen kuesioner Psychological Distress Kessler (K10) dan General Self Efficacy Scale (GSE) kepada 201 keluarga sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik sampling menggunakan Purposive Sampling sesuai kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rerata skor GSE 30,98±4,728 dan K10 17,97±4,426. Hasil uji korelasi menggunakan Spearman Rank test karena data tidak terdistribusi normal menunjukkan pvalue 0,000 dengan rho -0,339. Dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan signifikan dengan arah negatif yang bermakna semakin tinggi efikasi diri maka semakin rendah distres psikologis keluarga dalam merawat pasien GGK usia produktif dengan HD. Diharapkan penelitian selanjutnya dapat meneliti lebih lanjut terkait dengan dampak keluarga yang memiliki efikasi diri tinggi terhadap outcome perawatan pasien GGK serta menganalisis perbedaan efikasi diri keluarga yang merawat selama kurang dari 3 bulan

English Abstract

The prevalence of CKD increases over time and requires lifelong HD to support life. The role of family is needed and complex during HD care, causing psychological distress due to the burden of care. A prerequisite for effective coping to reduce psychological distress that affects family performance as a caregiver is self-efficacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and family psychological distress in caring for HD patients. Quantitative research with a descriptive correlational method with cross-sectional approach and using Kessler Psychological Distress (K10) and General Self Efficacy Scale (GSE) questionnaire instruments to 201 families as research samples. The sampling technique used purposive sampling according to the predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results showed that the mean score of GSE was 30,98 ± 4,728 and K10 was 17,97 ± 4,426. The results of the correlation test using the Spearman Rank test because the data is not normally distributed showed a p-value of 0.000 with a rho of -0.339. It can be concluded that there is a significant negative correlation, which means that the higher the self-efficacy, the lower the family's psychological distress in caring for productive-age GGK patients with HD. It is hoped that further research can examine further related to the impact of families who have high self-efficacy on the outcome of care for patients with GGK and analyze the difference in self-efficacy of families who care for under 3 months.
