Abstract
Hutan kota memiliki peran untuk meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan, mengurangi polusi, mengatur iklim mikro, serta menyediakan ruang rekreasi dan habitat bagi keanekaragaman hayati. Meskipun hutan kota memiliki banyak fungsi dan manfaat, hutan kota menghadapi tantangan dalam menjaga tingkat kenyamanan pengunjung akibat variasi distribusi vegetasi yang mempengaruhi suhu, kelembapan, dan intensitas cahaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang Indeks Nilai Penting (INP), indeks keanekaragaman vegetasi, indeks distribusi vegetasi dan Thermal Humidity Index (THI) di Hutan Kota Joyoboyo dan menganalisis hubungan antara distribusi vegetasi terhadap tingkat kenyamanan. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei hingga Juni 2024 di Hutan Joyoboyo, Kecamatan Banjaran, Kota Kediri. Alat dan bahan yang digunakan adalah alat tulis, tali, kamera, laptop, meteran, lux meter, dan thermohygrometer. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan yaitu Google Earth, Microsoft Excel 2019 dan SPSS. Variabel pengamatan yang digunakan adalah mengetahui tingkat kenyamanan (suhu, kelembapan, intensitas cahaya). Analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis vegetasi dengan menggunakan metode INP, analisis keanekaragaman, analisis tingkat kenyamanan dengan metode THI, analisis pola distribusi indeks, dan analisis korelasi rank spearman untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat kenyamanan di Hutan Joyoboyo Kediri. Hutan Kota Joyoboyo memiliki total 33 jenis vegetasi pada setiap pertumbuhan dengan nilai INP tertinggi mendapatkan nilai 208,60% menunjukan bahwa vegetasi memiliki dominasi yang tinggi, terkait penyebaran keanekaragaman vegetasi berada pada kategori sedang yang berarti vegetasi di hutan kota termasuk beragam, tingkat persebaran vegetasi termasuk dalam kategori seragam. Kenyamanan pada Hutan Kota Joyoboyo termasuk dalam kategori nyaman dengan nilai THI 23,35. Rata-rata hasil pada persentase kuisioner yang telah dilakukan berdasarkan masing-masing faktor tingkat kenyamanan pada Hutan Kota Joyoboyo memperoleh total persentase sebesar 77,26% yang termasuk dalam kategori nyaman, didapatkan dari faktor seperti fasilitas, keamanan, kebersihan, aroma, psikologi, kebisingan dan keindahan.
English Abstract
Urban forests play a role in improving environmental quality, reducing pollution, regulating microclimates, and providing recreational space and habitat for biodiversity. Although urban forests have many functions and benefits, they face challenges in maintaining visitor comfort levels due to variations in vegetation distribution that affect temperature, humidity, and light intensity. This study aims to obtain information on the Important Value Index (INP), vegetation diversity index, vegetation distribution index and Thermal Humidity Index (THI) in Joyoboyo City Forest and analyze the relationship between vegetation distribution and comfort levels. The study was conducted from May to June 2024 in Joyoboyo Forest, Banjaran District, Kediri City. The tools and materials used were stationery, rope, camera, laptop, meter, lux meter, and thermohygrometer. The software used was Google Earth, Microsoft Excel 2019 and SPSS. The observation variables used were to determine the level of comfort (temperature, humidity, light intensity). The analysis used is vegetation analysis using the INP method, diversity analysis, comfort level analysis using the THI method, index distribution pattern analysis, and spearman rank correlation analysis to determine the relationship between comfort levels in the Joyoboyo Kediri Forest. Joyoboyo City Forest has a total of 33 types of vegetation in each growth with the highest INP value getting a value of 208,60% indicating that vegetation has high dominance, related to the distribution of vegetation diversity is in the moderate category which means that vegetation in the city forest is diverse, the level of vegetation distribution is included in the uniform category. Comfort in the Joyoboyo City Forest is included in the comfortable category with a THI value of 23.35. The average results of the percentage of questionnaires that have been carried out based on each comfort level factor in the Joyoboyo City Forest obtained a total percentage of 77,26% which is included in the comfortable category, obtained from factors such as facilities, security, cleanliness, aroma, psychology, noise and beauty.
