Abstract
Partisipasi politik perempuan di DPRD Kota Malang pada periode 2019-2024 mengalami kenaikan peminat perempuan di setiap periode pemilu legislatif, di mana pada pemilu legislatif tahun 2014 terjadi peningkatan angka keterwakilan perempuan dari pemilu legislatif sebelumnya yakni sebanyak dua belas caleg perempuan yang lolos dan terpilih menjadi anggota DPRD Kota Malang hal itu dapat terpenuhi dikarenakan adanya upaya serta komitmen partai politik untuk bisa memenuhi kuota 30% agar dapat tergabung dalam kontestasi politik. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui kualitas serta partisipasi perempuan dalam pembuat kebijakan. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Affirmative Action sebagai bahan kajian peneliti. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa partisipasi perempuan dalam kontestasi politik sudah mencapai 30% serta mengalami peningkatan setiap periodenya. Adapun temuan dalam penelitian ini berupa partisipasi perempuan di DPRD Kota Malang hanya dijadikan sebagai pelengkap untuk memenuhi syarat dari pemilu, sedangkan partisipasi perempuan dalam pembuatan kebijakan masih tidak dominan, sehingga aspirasi perempuan di Kota Malang masih belum terwakili
English Abstract
Women's political participation in the Malang City DPRD in the 2019-2024 period experienced an increase in female interest in each legislative election period, where in the 2014 legislative election there was an increase in the number of women's representation compared to the previous legislative election, namely twelve female legislative candidates who passed and were elected as members of the City DPRD Unfortunately, this can be fulfilled due to the efforts and commitment of political parties to be able to fulfill the 30% quota so that they can join in political contestation. The aim of this research is to determine the quality and participation of women in policy making. The method used is qualitative descriptive. This research uses Affirmative Action theory as material for the researcher's study. The results of this research show that women's participation in political contestation has reached 30% and has increased in each period. The findings in this research are that women's participation in the Malang City DPRD is only used as a complement to fulfill the election requirements, while women's participation in policy making is still not dominant, so the aspirations of women in Malang City are still not represented.
