Abstract

Penggunaan paving dari beton porous semakin banyak digunakan untuk mengurangi adanya genangan air pada permukaan jalan. Banyaknya limbah dari beton bangunan yang sudah dihancurkan menjadi masalah tersendiri sehingga muncul gagasan menggunakan agregat dari beton limbah sebagai pengganti agregat alam. Namun penggunaan beton limbah sebagai agregat pada umumnya menghasilkan beton dengan mutu rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode Two Stage Mixing Approach (TSMA) terhadap kuat tarik belah beton porous, dan menggunakan variasi komposisi agregat kasar daur ulang (RCA) terhadap agregat kasar alam (NCA). Pada penelitian ini digunakan benda uji tarik belah berupa silinder beton porous dengan ukuran diameter 15 cm dan tinggi silinder 30 cm. Data yang dicari antara lain karakteristik RCA dan NCA, berat isi dan kuat tarik belah beton porous yang menggunakan metode normal mixing approach (NMA) dan metode two stage mixing approach (TSMA) dengan variasi komposisi RCA 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, dan 100%. Untuk pembuatan beton porous campuran yang digunakan antara semen : agregat kasar : air adalah 1 : 4 : 0,3. Dan mutu parent concrete penghasil RCA adalah beton muru K-175 – K-225. Hasil uji agregat yang didapat kualitas NCA yang digunakan lebih rendah dibanding RCA. Berat isi rata-rata beton porous dengan metode TSMA yang diperoleh lebih rendah dibanding dengan benda uji yang menggunakan metode NMA. Variasi komposisi RCA yang digunakan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kuat tarik beton porous. RCA dengan kadar 50% dan menggunakan metode NMA menghasilkan kuat tarik belah tertinggi sebesar 1,4675 Mpa. Pada kadar RCA 25%, 75%, dan 100% benda uji metode TSMA memiliki kuat tarik belah lebih tinggi, dan kuat tarik belah tertinggi beton porous yang menggunakan metode TSMA adalah 1,3664 Mpa dengan kadar RCA 100%.

English Abstract

The use of paving from porous concrete was increasingly being used to reduce the presence of puddle on the road surface. The high amount of crushed building concrete waste are becoming issues that appears the idea of using recyled aggregates to replace the natural aggregates The concrete that used recycled aggregates usually had lower quality. This experiment have a purposes to investigate the effect of two staga mixing approach (TSMA) on the splitting tensile strength of porous concrete, with variation of recycled coarse aggregate (RCA) to normal coarse aggregate (NCA). This experiment, the test speciment/object are cylindrical concrete specimens with 15 cm in diameters and 30 cm in length. The data sought are characteristic of RCA dan NCA, unit weight and splitting tensile strength porous concrete which use normal mixing aggregatte (NMA) and two stage mixing approach (TSMA) and variations composition of RCA at 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% to NCA. The proportion for mix design used betwen cement : aggregate : water are 1 : 4 : 0,3. The quality of parent concrete that produce RCA were betwen K-175 to K-225. The result of aggregate test show that quality of NCA that used was lower that the RCA. Unit weight porous concrete that use TSMA method was under the unit weight of specimen that use NMA method. Variatons of composition RCA that used show significant influence on splitting tensile strength of porous concrete. Composition of 50% RCA with NMA method show the highest splitting tensile strength with 1,4675 Mpa. On 25%, 75%, and 100% of RCA the speciments that used TSMA method produce higher splitting tensile strength, and the highest splitting tensile strength of porous concrete that used TSMA method was 1,3664 Mpa on 100% RCA used.
