Abstract
Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah kondisi permasalahan antara stakeholder di kemahasiswaan yang terlihat kurang adanya kerjasama dengan baik. Disisi lain ternyata peningkatan prestasi kemahasiswaan di Universitas Brawijaya terus mengalami peningkatan. Rumusan masalah penelitian adalah bagaimanakah kondisi eksisting kelembagaan kemahasiswaan Universitas Brawijayya, bagaimanakah pelaksanaan dan hasil pengembangan kapasitas kemahasiswaan di Universitas Brawijaya, serta bagaimana faktor pendorong dan penghambat dalam pelaksanaan pengembangan kapasitas kelembagaan kemahasiswaan di Universitas Brawijaya. Pengembangan kapasitas merupakan sebuah proses dalam mewujudkan organisasi atau lembaga menjadi efektif, efisien, dan responsif. Sehingga dibutuhkan bagi sebuah kelembagaan kemahasiswaan Universitas Brawijaya untuk terus melakukan perkembangan kapasitas dalam mewujudkan beberapa target prestasi dan pencapaian. Jenis penelitian deskriptif. Situs penelitian, yaitu Lingkungan Universitas Brawijaya diantaranya Rektorat, Fakultas di Universitas Brawijaya. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian bahwa kondisi kelembagaan kemahasiswaan yang saat ini sedang di teliti dalam kondisi baik. Namun dengan kondisi baik masih belum cukup, sehingga pengembangan kapasitas kelembagaan dilakukan untuk mengukur seberapa jauh peningkatan prestasi dan kinerja kepegawaian kemahasiswaan di Universitas Brawijaya. Indikator sumberdaya manusia telah baik karena terdiri dari pengelolaan sistem yang baik, indikator struktur organisasi juga telah disesuaikan dengan perintah Kemenristekdikti, Budaya Organisasi juga telah dipertahankan dengan nilai kepedulian, mekanisme kinerja telah disesuaikan prosedur yang dibuat dengan baik, kinerja sistem anggaran walaupun ada koreksi dari Rektor untuk kekurangan namun sistem yang dijelankan telah baik. Namun indikator kepemimpinan masih menjadi catatan yang kurang baik dikarenakan hasil kinerja dari berbagai narasumber mengatakan hal tersbeut. Saran bagi Kemahasiswaan Universitas Brawijaya adalah menaikkan anggaran kemahasiswaan untuk kompetisi internasional, merawat dukungan dari alumni serta menjaga kepercayaan yang diberikan oleh Kemenristekdikti dalam penilaiannya.
English Abstract
The background of this research is the condition of the problems between stakeholders in the students who seem to lack of cooperation well. On the other hand, the increase in student achievement in Universitas Brawijaya continues to increase. The formulation of research problem is how is the condition of the existing UB Student Institution organization, how the implementation and the result of the development of student's capacity in Universitas Brawijaya, and how the driving and inhibiting factor in the implementation of institutional capacity building of student affairs in Universitas Brawijaya. Capacity building is a process in realizing the organization or institution to be effective, efficient, and responsive. So it is needed for an UB Student Institution to continue to develop capacity in achieving some achievement and achievement targets. Type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research sites, namely UB Brawijaya Environment include the Rectorate, Faculty of Brawijaya University. Data collection techniques with interviews and documentation. Result of research that condition of student institute which is currently in meticulously in good condition. However, good condition is still not enough, so institutional capacity building is done to measure how far improvement of student performance and performance in Universitas Brawijaya. Indicators of human resources has been good because it consists of good system management, organizational structure indicators have also been adapted to the Kemenristekdikti command, Organizational Culture has also been maintained with the value of care, performance mechanism has been adjusted well-made procedures, budget system performance despite correction from the Rector For shortcomings but the slowed system has been good. But the indicators of leadership is still a poor record because the results of the performance of various sources said it tersbeut. Suggestions for UB Student Affairs are increasing student budget for international competition, taking care of support from alumni and maintaining trust given by Kemenristekdikti in its assessment.
