Abstract
Self-harm adalah perilaku menyakiti diri sendiri atau sebagai tindakan seseorang untuk melukai diri sendiri tanpa meiliki niat untuk bunuh diri, biasanya dilakukan untuk menyalurkan rasa sakit emosional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional, dengan menggunakan teknik accidental sampling, melalui Google form, kepada subjek yang berusia 18-25. Variabel keberfungsian keluarga diukur menggunakan Family Asessment Device yang terdiri dari 53 Butir, sedangkan variabel self-harm diukur menggunakan Self-Harm Inventory (SHI) yang terdiri dari 22 butir. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah korelasi Pearson product moment. Penelitian yang melibatkan 72 responden ini mnunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara keberfungsian keluarga dan self-harm. Hasil dari penelitian ini memiliki implikasi agar dilakukan evaluasi ulang terhadap asumsi keterkaitan antara keberfungsian keluarga dan mempertimbangkan keterlibatan faktor-faktor lain yang berkaitan dengan selfharm.
English Abstract
Self-harm is a behavior of hurting oneself or an act of someone to injure themselves without the intention of committing suicide, usually done to channel emotional pain. This study uses a correlational quantitative approach, utilizing accidental sampling techniques. The sample was collected through a Google form questionnaire, distributed to individuals aged 18-25. The family functioning variable was measured using the Family Assessment Device consisting of 53 items, while the selfharm variable was measured using the Self-Harm Inventory (SHI) consisting of 22 items. The analysis technique in this study is the Pearson product-moment correlation. This study, involving 72 respondents, showed no significant correlation between family functioning and self-harm. The results of this study imply that the assumption of the relationship between family functioning and self-harm should be re-evaluated, and consideration should be given to other factors related to selfharm
