Abstract
Pembangunan gedung maupun infrastruktur di Indonesia semakin berkembang, sehingga menyebabkan permintaan akan material konstruksi semakin tinggi, baik berupa semen, agregat kasar, maupun agregat halus. Pada umumnya pada dunia konstruksi untuk agregat kasar dan halus, menggunakan material-material alami, seiring dengan berjalannya waktu sumber daya alam Indonesia akan habis apabila terus-menerus digunakan untuk material pembangunan, oleh sebab itu perlu adanya langkah-langkah untuk mengurangi penggunaan material tersebut. Melalui kajian yang telah disebutkan, dilakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode ini dilakukan dengan pengambilan data umum maupun teknis sehingga menghasilkan kesimpulan berdasarkan angka-angka yang di dapat. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, didapatkan berat isi rata-rata agregat kasar daur ulang (RCA) sebesar 1393,62 kg/m3. Untuk nilai berat isi rata-rata agregat kasar daur ulang (RCA) dengan variasi molaritas NaOH dan Solid-Liquid Ratio yaitu M8, M10, M12, dan M14 berturut-turut sebesar 1329,26 kg/m3, 1315,04 kg/m3, 1358,18 kg/m3, dan 1306,51 kg/m3. Setelah dilakukan coating, berat isi agregat meningkat menjadi sebesar berturut-turut 1438,60 kg/m3, 1384,97 kg/m3, 1425,71 kg/m3, dan 1385,44 kg/m3. Hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa RCA setelah ditambahkan coating akan menambah berat isi, namun penambahannya tidak signifikan.
English Abstract
The construction of buildings and infrastructure in Indonesia is increasingly developing, causing demand for construction materials to increase, both in the form of cement, coarse aggregate and fine aggregate. In general, in the construction world for coarse and fine aggregates, natural materials are used. Over time, Indonesia's natural resources will run out if they are continuously used for construction materials, therefore steps are needed to reduce the use of these materials. Through the studies mentioned above, research was carried out using quantitative descriptive methods. This method is carried out by collecting general and technical data to produce conclusions based on the figures obtained. Based on this research, the average density of recycled coarse aggregate (RCA) was obtained at 1393.62 kg/m3. For the average unit weight value of recycled coarse aggregate (RCA) with variations in NaOH molarity and Solid-Liquid Ratio, namely M8, M10, M12, and M14 respectively, it is 1329.26 kg/m3, 1315.04 kg/m3, 1358.18 kg/m3, and 1306.51 kg/m3. After coating, the aggregate density increased to 1438.60 kg/m3, 1384.97 kg/m3, 1425.71 kg/m3, and 1385.44 kg/m3, respectively. This can be interpreted that after adding coating RCA will increase the weight of the contents, but the addition is not significant.
