Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh semakin pentingnya peranan sumber daya manusia bagi suatu organisasi, lebih-lebih bagi instansi pemerintah yang berfungsi memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat secara umum. Oleh sebab itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh pengembangan pegawai memberikan pengaruhnya terhadap kualitas pelayanan prima yang diberikan kepada masyarakat. Penelitian dilakukan pada Kantor Bersama SAMSAT Kota Samarinda dengan metode Sensus, yaitu seluruh pegawai yang berjumlah 37 orang dijadikan sebagai responden penelitian. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel pendidikan dan pelatihan memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel pelayanan prima, dimana kontribusi yang diberikan oleh variabel pendidikan dan pelatihan adalah sebesar 74,9 persen terhadap pelayanan prima. Sementara itu variabel pengalaman kerja memberikan kontribusi terhadap variabel pelayanan prima sebesar 74,7 persen. Hal ini berarti kedua variabel independen secara sendiri-sendiri memberikan pengaruh yang cukup signifikan terhadap variabel pelayanan prima. Hasil analisis dengan metode regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel pendidikan dan pelatihan serta pengalaman kerja memberikan pengaruh yang cukup signifikan terhadap variabel pelayanan prima. Nilai R2 yang diperoleh dari hasil analisis sebesar 0,809 yang berarti bahwa 80,9 persen keragaman dari variabel pelayanan prima dipengaruhi oleh variabel pendidikan dan pelatihan serta pengalaman kerja.
English Abstract
This research was based on the more important role of human resource to an organization, even to a government office the function to give a service to the public in general. Therefore, this research was aimed at knowing how far does the employee development give an influence to the quality of the excellent services given to the public. The research was conducted in the Joint Office of SAMSAT of Samarinda City by applying census method that is all of the 37 employees became the respondents of the research. Data collected in the research were analyzed using the method of multiple linear regression analysis by applying computer program, that is SPSS 11,o for Windows. The result of analysis showed that training and education variable gave a significant influence to the excellent service variable, where contribution given by training and education variable was 74,9 percent to the excellent service. While experience variable gave contribution to the excellent service variable 74,7 percent. This meant that both independent variable by themselves gave an enough significant influence to the excellent service. The result of analysis gave by using multiple regression method showed that simultaneously training and education and experience variable gave an enough significant influence to the excellent service variable R2 value found from the result of anaysis was 0,809 which meant that 80,9 percent of the kinds of excellent service variables were influence by training and education, and experience variables.
